For those of us that listened to Bill Jackson, Wally Ausley and Gary Dornburg……this will bring back memories.

RIP, Mr. Dillon, your voice still rings true to many WP’ers…..living and otherwise.
Truly a Wolfpack legend…as much a part of my Reynolds memories as Mrs. Sloan singing the National Anthem and Norm’s plaid game jackets.
Definitely one of those voices I’ll take with me to my grave.
Say hello to Jimmy, Norm and Ev for us please, Mr. Dillon. If you see Wally and Gary, give them a shout too.
He told me that my voice was meant for the microphone, once. Shoulda listened I guess.
…Something about baritone.
yep…. they don’t make many like that these days…
Prayers for the whole ‘Dillon Family’…
I will always associate his voice with Reynolds.
My dad even heard CA call games at Frank Thompson Gym
RIP

Exactly what I was thinking.
He actually was a NC State College grad and was truly our own.
Rrrrrrrooddneyyy Mooonrooooe…
Great voice perfect for the circus like atmosphere of Reynolds. RIP Mr. Dillon.
