March Madness begins today without our beloved Wolfpack for the first time in five years. But, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have reasons to pay at
[See the full post at: Byting NCAA Tournament Insight & Open Entry]03/17/2016 at 1:08 PM #101426VaWolf82KeymasterThe one thing that I hate is the talking heads discussing how there brackets are doing. I couldn’t possibly care less about their predictions. Why can’t we talk about the games?
03/17/2016 at 2:28 PM #101427MrPlywoodParticipantI heard Kenny Smith on the Rich Eisen show. Smith talked about the importance of guard play in the tourney, and Eisen asked him which kid in the tournament had the best next level ability. The first name Smith mentioned was Cat – even though State didn’t make it to the tourney. He’s very high on Cat’s potential. That’s pretty cool – even if it is from a Heel.
The fun starts around 3 minutes in.

03/17/2016 at 9:05 PM #101429john of spartaParticipantjust saw this on ESPN:
C.L. Brown
ESPN Staff WriterWilson basketball in PNC Arena: Marcus Paige has made 18 of 33 career 3-pointers. That includes 3 of 6 against Florida Gulf Coast. Paige has long maintained there was something about the feel and weight of a Wilson ball that favors his shooting. NC State uses Wilson for their home games.
03/17/2016 at 10:44 PM #101431choppack1ParticipantI love watching Wichita state play D. They box out, defend the rim, and play great help d…offensively, it’s not as pretty bit they play fast and drive the ball.
We shall see what the second half brings. Arizona is no slouch defensively either and York can get hot in a hurry.
And 6 hours of sleep again tonight.
03/18/2016 at 8:31 AM #101432Whiteshoes67ParticipantShocks take dominate Zone and had an off shooting night from 3. Won’t be surprised if they get to the Elite 8. They may lose to the Canes, but I could see them facing off against KU, and wouldn’t Kansas fans just love it
03/18/2016 at 1:45 PM #101438NCSU84ParticipantAs I watched the highlights of UNC (no interest in watching the actual game), I thought to myself ‘What about the bogus classes?’ ‘Where are we with the NCAA investigation?’ I guess all is forgotten and swept under the rug. Of course, we all knew this would happen during tournament time, but it remains to be seen what happens in the months ahead – especially if they win it all. Unfortunately, I think we know the answer to that as well.
03/18/2016 at 1:50 PM #101439MikeParticipantAll the talk of the ‘Cuse getting a gift of a bid – they are sure looking worthy right now. Lot of time left (10 minutes) but up 15 on Dayton.
Bittersweet – really want Archie to do well, but also for the few who think Archie is the 2nd coming – please stop if he cant even get past a bad Cuse team.

Hard to believe that the savior in waiting of our program is getting his a** handed to him by a coach that is so stupid that he normally only goes 2-3 deep off of his bench.
03/18/2016 at 2:59 PM #10144166packParticipantJay Bilas on mike & mike today and shared some opinions on various topics but only caught him discussing the status of college bb coaching and his example was VCU and Smart. He believes that successful mid-major coaches have no reason to move to an unsuccessful schools of a major conference ie.-NCSU. State has a history of hiring mid majors with mixed results. We need an AD who can find a Smart before he becomes a successful VCU coach as the VCU AD did. The mid major AD’s seem to be able to find good coaches and this tourney has many examples.
03/18/2016 at 3:32 PM #101442Alpha WolfKeymasterDid Bilas mention NC State specifically?

Its too bad Arch can’t coach his way into a losing record and 13th place. He would be celebrated.

Chill Rick. Merely pointing out the ironies in the situation. Nothing to celebrate about this season other than it being over.
03/18/2016 at 4:58 PM #101445Pack78Participant#15 MTSU just knocked out #2 Sparty 90-81…is this the first time that a #2 has lost the first game?
03/18/2016 at 4:59 PM #101446VaWolf82KeymasterAt lease UVA found someone to take out their nemesis. B
03/18/2016 at 5:00 PM #101447MrPlywoodParticipantThoughts for the Day:
I don’t recall call anyone “celebrating” Gott. Some people are in his corner, some on the fence, some not. But celebrating, not so much.
The Miller boys took it on the chin, badly.
Hawaii and Middle Tenn. – make FTs win games. Both were clutch down the stretch. Impressive. A lot of brackets busted with Sparty going home.
‘Cuse in the Sweet 16? Madness!
03/18/2016 at 5:11 PM #101448redisgoodParticipantVery happy for JaQawn. The Wolfpack are assured of having 3 guards in the round of 32. Pulling hard for MTSU, not so much for Butler and UConn.
03/18/2016 at 7:21 PM #101449TheCOWDOGModeratorBoy’s, ya gotta remind yourselves that Ricky has his own way of regurgitating other’s written thoughts.
How is it a coach, like Izzo, can’t teach a fundamental like pivot foot?
LMAO. (But killed most of my brackets, so it ain’the THAT funny.)
03/18/2016 at 7:23 PM #101450VaWolf82KeymasterI saw on yahoo.sports that 99.999% of the brackets were busted after day 1 with the Yale and A-LR upsets. Mich St’s loss ruined what was left.
03/18/2016 at 7:48 PM #101451TheCOWDOGModerator^ And I had Yale AND Little Rock!
03/18/2016 at 9:04 PM #101452Heelh8rParticipantRicky just mad his bracket busted with Dayton and Zona going all the way and meeting in the championship
03/18/2016 at 9:08 PM #101453TexpackParticipantI thought Wiscy had a better cut man than Pitt. I guess I was right.

CJ Williams playing for SFA as well.
