Regardless of what you may think of him or his past deeds, Pearl is nothing if not full of enthusiasm and panache. He certainly knows how to ‘advertise’ both himself and his program, as seen below:

He is the consummate marketer and a pretty great coach to go along with it. He will take Auburn to heights they haven’t seen since Charles Barkley in the blink of an eye.

His teams are always very good at running the full court press. Like Boeheim and his zone, I believe Pearl recruits athletes specifically tuned for defense. Finding adequate scorers will be his main challenge at Auburn.
