The BJD jinx was strong with this one, but the curse was finally broken.
03/09/2014 at 8:11 PM #450571.21 JigawattsKeymasterWould be nice to see him again next year still wearing Wolfpack Red.
03/09/2014 at 8:12 PM #45058tjfoose1ParticipantTJ makes it easy for the media. He has to be POY now.
03/09/2014 at 8:13 PM #45059ILPackfanParticipantGreat game by Buckets today. He’s gotta be ACC POY. I’m going to miss him next year (but not as much as the rest of the team).
Here’s hoping for a good run in the ACC tourney.
03/09/2014 at 8:14 PM #45060bill.onthebeachParticipantCUZ broke the Jinx…
And did some Coaching too..
Ya’ll saw Cuz doing the talking in the huddle during that last timeout…
didn’t ya ??#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:21 PM #45061pakfanistanParticipantTJ makes it easy for the media. He has to be POY now.
I haven’t confirmed, but I heard the vote was at 5pm. Hopefully that was just a troll of State fans.
03/09/2014 at 8:23 PM #45062bill.onthebeachParticipantGary and Tony said the “polls” stay open to Nine PM EST.
That’s good enough for me… paky
So are BackToBack Forties!
POP!
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:27 PM #4506413OTParticipantWho wouldn’t vote for Warren for POY? Maybe Andrew Carter, N&O’s UNC writer, who said a few days ago that although he couldn’t vote on COY, his vote would be for Roy over UVA’s Bennett.
There are yet bridges to cross, with trolls beneath them all…………

POP!
Good to hear.
03/09/2014 at 8:28 PM #45066BJD95KeymasterCarter also said he’d vote Buckets for POY, in same article.
03/09/2014 at 8:30 PM #45067dthompson44ParticipantNot a troll. Heard it yesterday from a voting sportswriter on a radio interview.
If he was wrong that’s fantastic. But, how many waited to cast their ballot?
03/09/2014 at 8:30 PM #45068Pack78ParticipantIrrespective of the vote, Buckets IS the POY-at this point, the vote should be a formality…
03/09/2014 at 8:31 PM #45069bill.onthebeachParticipantBarry Jacobs…
…. during halftime at Cameron last night told (bragged, boasted) Eric… he had already voted for Paige and Uncle Roy.
.. vote early and vote often…
that’s the way to do it!#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:31 PM #45070JeremyHParticipantSo was MD beating UVA good or bad for us?
Is it true that the only way for us to get into the NCAA is winning the ACC tournament? I thought we had a slim chance if we make it to the ACC third round.03/09/2014 at 8:33 PM #45071BJD95KeymasterBarry Jacobs is perhaps the biggest Hole homer outside of Dave Glenn. Buckets and Bennett will win.
03/09/2014 at 8:34 PM #45072BJD95KeymasterSo was MD beating UVA good or bad for us?
Is it true that the only way for us to get into the NCAA is winning the ACC tournament? I thought we had a slim chance if we make it to the ACC third round.I think we probably make it if we make the finals. No chance otherwise.
03/09/2014 at 8:36 PM #45073bill.onthebeachParticipant^^Really… direct from the Greensboro News and Record..&& WFMY-TV (home of Woody Durham) … really..
“homers” ????
BJD… you know you can be so “polite” when you want to…
I learnt at least a dozen more accurate and descriptive adjectives and adverbs in Winston Hall than that….
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:36 PM #45074Pack78ParticipantAs an aside, I’m really pleased that ‘Roy didn’t really want Warren (IC horse$hit)’…
03/09/2014 at 8:37 PM #45075wufpup76KeymasterACC championship is 98% the only way.
Winning three in Greensboro would give a faint hope dependent upon what happens across the country. Even then, it’s a veritable lock that we a tournament victory to go dancing.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even care about a first round (second round, technically) NCAA loss if we were to win the ACC championship. It’s been 30 years (fine, 27 years – technically).
03/09/2014 at 8:38 PM #45076bill.onthebeachParticipant^Somebody told CUZ his soph. year at Southern Durham he would never play in the Dome…
check his stats and you will see they were more right than wrong…
POP said NO…
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:39 PM #45077bill.onthebeachParticipantOK…
Sorry guys…
Gary just reported that David had two games — BackToBack Forties in 1974.Mr. Dog … check your book on that please.
Gary did not name the opponents…
#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!03/09/2014 at 8:40 PM #45078packalum44ParticipantBennett and Warren are easily your COY and POY. HUGE slight to both persons and programs if either lose the honor.
03/09/2014 at 8:41 PM #45079xphoenix87ModeratorCounted this up just for fun:
Number of 30+ point games by Doug McDermott: 10
Number of 30+ point games from the other 14 players on the Wooden Award ballot: 6
Number of 30+ point games by TJ Warren: 903/09/2014 at 8:42 PM #45080WulfpackParticipantWe’re going to have to win it all. Probably about 20 teams ahead of us right now on the Bubble.
03/09/2014 at 8:52 PM #45081MARinRVAParticipantBest case scenario is we make it to Saturday and get torched by Dook. We can totally do that, but alas, it won’t be enough to go dancing.
