Yep the travel and repeated Short shots which says Fatigue
Rough game. But I still like this team better than any other in the last few decades. Hustle, effort, a semblance of a plan.
Communism is not love. Communism is a hammer which we use to crush the enemy. Mao Zedong
Lots to work on from today. Really need the UT game to make it a good trip
Dude, we beat #2 Arizona and lost a close game less than 24 hours later to UNI, a similar quality team to our team (State is #89 in KenPom, UNI is #98). IMO it is a great trip regardless of outcome against UT. The experience (travel, neutral floor, nationally televised games, back to back to back games) should prove to be extremely valuable for a team with many new players in a new system.
That said, UT is a really good team – ranked #36 in KenPom rankings. To defeat them would be huge.
