I ran across the show on my dish years ago. Just as the article states it was 4 writers sitting around a table in a cloud of cigar smoke talking about whatever. Very much a Chicago focus of course but that was also in the day of the Bulls with Jordan. Content trumped vapid “pretty faces”.
