We didn’t move at all on the dance card. That should tell you that we may very well need to win the ACC Tournament.

Another way to look at it is that as I argued several weeks ago, winning the first game in the expanded ACCT doesn’t get you anything. A loss to a bad team could be devastating to someone on the bubble….but there is no way that beating a bad team is going to be worth very much.
I’m pretty sure State moved up about 4 spots after the dance card was updated this morning. Of course it had more to do with those ahead of State losing than the Pack beating Miami.

Could have sworn State was 65 yesterday but that’s why I don’t try to rely on my memory. One thing I did notice is the Pack has gone from 0.0% to 0.07%. #1 with a bullet baby!!!!

I was just thinking that with all of the bubble teams that lost yesterday, we might move up the list by default.. I didn’t expect much of a bump to our resume from a neutral court win over Da U.

1) That the impact of a win over a Top25 is HUGE
2) That State gets one today and another one tomorrow
3) A lot of bubble teams lose quickly, ie todayWith FSU down 15 with 7:30 to go, there is no use in hoping for an FSU win to give State 3 Top-50 wins.
