Wolfpack – that’s an interesting hire…if you’re Pitt you have to wonder about the lack of ambition in the hiring.
Tough call for GT. On the one hand, you are already paying 2 coaches, so unless you have tons to spend, you don’t want someone you’re going to have to pay big bucks to. But, if you hire another dud, you’re going to be looking again and paying several coaches to do nothing for several years.
I’d be happy to help them skip the drama and just pay me $500,000 a year to be an ex-coach; saves time and money. I could even possibly be talked down to $100,000.Clearly I don’t know how to structure my contracts. I need a clause in there that says “if my job performance sucks you will owe me double the agreed project fee annually for 5 years after terminating the contract.”
I read this site regularly but rarely post anything. However, I’m extremely surprised no one has brought up the Stallings/Pitt hire and it’s connection to Todd Turner – All I can say is poor Pitt.

Sendek, 53, stayed out of coaching this season, but he kept busy, traveling to watch coaches run practice all across the country.
Julius is going to Santa Clara to be an assistant for his old coach. While Sendek has his limitations, he does turn out good coaches. Best of luck to Mr. Hodge!
