    I really do hate baseball writers getting stepped on.

    Haha!! No betrayal, my man. My cryptogram above has more to do with RG going rogue than anything else. Dude’s driving me crazy.

    But to answer the hypothetical, if one must get terminated, my preference would be for the blonde bombshell in the 3rd installment. With the cutie in the TV version/abortion coming in as choice 1b, lol.

    And I’ll be schlepping to the DBAP for all three it looks like, even braving the alleged storminess (stormy-fied? stormy-esque? whatever) for tomorrow’s early start. But under the roof tomorrow and Friday, so who cares? Behind the 1st base dugout for Sat night.

    LMAO, no need. You know me better than that.

    But still, I do still mourn DBP’s self-imposed banishment, especially this time of year. Makes me wish we could land in Gainesville so we could road trip down and annoy the shit out of him. 😀

    Sadly, we’re likely to be shipped west of the mighty Mississip barring a bulldozer impression this week. Depending upon what’s the lay of the land around here at the time, I might consider a Dallas trip tho.

    Pool Play Day 1: FSU 3-1 over Clemson, Miami 9-5 over UVa, ‘Ville over Carolina 7-4

    Pool Play Standings:
    Pool A
    L’Ville 1-0
    FSU 1-0
    Clemson 0-1
    Carolina 0-1

    Pool B
    Miami 1-0
    Notre Dame 0-0
    NC State 0-0
    UVa 0-1

    As an aside, I could hear the same loudmouthed ‘Ville fan on the ‘Ville/Carolina TV broadcast tonight, whom I had the pleasure of more or less sitting next to all weekend. Chatter is fine, even encouraged, even from the visitors. But take a breath and shut it once in a while. If I can pick out your voice on TV, you need to take a few pitches off dude.

    Thursday’s Slate:

    NC State @ ND – 11am
    L’Ville @ Clemson – 3pm
    FSU @ Carolina – 7pm

    And natch, the Pack’s game tomorrow will possibly/likely be impacted by weather.

    Going tomorrow and Saturday night.

    Hopefully it won’t be impacted too much since the kiddos will be with us.

    Good to see the cheaters lose.

    So, best plans are to win today and tomorrow and have ND beat UVA. Therefore, State could clinch the title game before playing UVA.

    3-0 State through 7.

    Brown was lights out. 10 K and 2 hits in his 6 innings.

    In the first 2 innings, great 2 out hitting gave State the 3-0 lead.

    Outside of Brown, the most discussed aspect by the commentators has been the State K Crew fan putting up all of the strikeouts.

    Very impressive outing by both Brown and Britt.

    Going to need even more hitting tomorrow. Very good win over a NCAA tourney team today.

    Probably assured a spot in the NCAA tournament after today’s win.

    Could move up to a 2 seed if the team keeps winning.
