Is it just me, or is the 2014 NCAA tournament theme song a Steve Winwood ripoff? That’s been bothering me for a week now. As they cut to a commercial and play this new metro remix, my lyrical subconscious cries out “brrrriiiiiiiiing me a Higher Love”. Different words come out of my television’s speakers. It throws me for a loop every time.

Not quite a Winwood ripoff, just the refrain that the networks repeat conjures up Winwood-esque feelings.
