So, as you probably seen, the new thing in the digital world of sports are “Hype Videos”. While I love original digital content, For some reason or another I can’t stand the term ‘Hype Video’. So, early this morning I received the following notification in my twitter feed about a ‘Hype Video’ today’s game with Troy.

When I clicked on the link I realized that the video was absolutely fantastic and immediately started crafting this blog entry. The production quality was very high and it was obvious that the footage was shot by the athletics department. At the end of the video the logo for Troy flashed and then it hit me that I was probably watching the video that will be on the Carter-Finley scoreboard tonight right before the Wolfpack runs out of the tunnel to take the field for the game.
I put the blog entry on hold for couple of hours to get some other work done, and now that I am back I realized that the video has been made private on YouTube and can’t be viewed. Interesting. And, I’m sorry about that.
With all that said, I found another video that I like very much and I thought would be a great way to start today! We will have much more throughout the day. In the interim, please don’t hesitate to take spend some time making use of our message forums linked here.
