No major surprises with Saturday’s announcement of football gametimes for the first three weeks of the 2015 season. NC State’s first two games will both be played at the preferred gametime of 6pm since they won’t be televised on a major network, but the trip to Old Dominion on September 19th does not yet have a game time.
Opening weekend will again feature a nationally televised prime time Labor Day night game with Virginia Tech hosting defending national champion Ohio State at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
In addition to games under its control for the first three weeks, the ACC also announced game times for its Thursday night package, including North Carolina at Pitt at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29. N.C. State and Wake Forest will also be part of the league’s Friday night telecasts, with the Wolfpack playing at Virginia Tech at 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. and Wake Forest hosting Louisville on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.
