The Wolfpack have signed another wide receiver this time out of state. Freddie Simmons from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania attends Bethlehem Catholic as he stands 6’3″ plus weights in about 180 pounds. Simmons is a taller receiver which is a need for The Pack as it is always a convenience to have heights for wide-outs. He wasn’t a familiar name throughout the past year in the recruiting process but new wide receivers coach, George McDonald recruited him. Simmons a one time Rutgers commit, took an official visit to Central Florida during Martin Luther King weekend as he was projected to go there until he took an unofficial visit to Raleigh. Simmons committed the next day after his visit to The Pack and will be a blue shirt. NC State won his commitment over California, Central Florida, Connecticut, Hawaii, Kansas, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
