NC State will kick-off in Chapel Hill on November 29th against rival, UNC-Cheats at 12:30pm in a game that will be televised on the ACC Network.

=======>>>>>>> Speaking of Chapel Hill, there is always something going on at the “Flagship”…so, you can click here to catch up on some recent rumors and the news that the University’s General Counsel picked a super strange time to trade an institution with such (supposedly) high standing for the lowest ranked school in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

=======>>>>>>> While we have your attention, if you have not seen our Campus Insiders Report produced for SFN by USA Today then ask that you please click here here and take a look. It is a big help to SFN for us to get as many watches of the video as possible.

=======>>>>>>> Elsewhere around college football, Will Muschamp is exiting stage left at Florida with about as much class and dignity as I have ever seen a coach display. Now that Florida AD, Jeremy Foley, has publicly stated that the Gators next coach will have an offensive focus…one can’t help but wondering where David Cutcliffe will be coaching next year. It isn’t like Florida doesn’t have a successful history of taking Duke coaches…nor is it like Cucliffe isn’t very familiar with SEC territory. Will be interesting.

=======>>>>>>> Question? Does Mississippi State remain in the playoff picture despite losing to Alabama?

=======>>>>>>> The following video provides a look around college football right now:

=======>>>>>>> I will leave you with some great news — the following tweet came from Kentavious Street today in response to everyone’s concern about his injury on Saturday.

I definitely think Miss State will still have a chance at the playoff. I don’t see them as a top 4 come tomorrow night but that can certainly change. Bama could lose to Aubie or the SEC Championship game. Oregon could lose. FSU could certainly lose to Florida or Georgia Tech. Still a long way to go.

Methinks… Coach Cut has worked too hard to put Duke back on the football map and knows he’s past the age where he should want to put up with the BS that flows effusively from those GatorHoles… That said, it’s gonna cost Duke some serious money (of which there’s no shortage if Coach Rat is willing to turn loose of it ) to take his name off the list and he deserves every dime.

What was the name of the GatorHole coach who signed on, then went over to Tampa, before he ever had the first practice?

    We shall see…

Color me unimpressed. At least we’re not playing someone difficult, like Davidson.

Let’s see, we didn’t play D, didn’t shoot free throws, let everybody in the 27606 area code have an open look. Didn’t execute, didn’t move the ball against the zone, didn’t finish. Couldn’t control the boards. Poor shot selection. How many balls did we throw back in bounds under their basket? Abu is a three point shooter? Lacy took more shots than Kobe.

What’s our Pomeroy rating, 60ish? That’s about right.

In other words, it was the second game of the year, with a team playing a lot of freshmen players who were finding out for the first time that the college game is a step up.

By all means, write off the first half, when the game was won, and expect a February-polished team with a kid playing his second competitive game in two years, others fresh out of Oak Hill and Brewster and sophomores that played second fiddle to Tony Buckets last year.

Yes, the Pack has a way to go. But let’s look at the bright side: they kept their poise when they were struggling (with the exception of one of the Martin twins, I forget which) and they found a way to win right at the predicted points spread. Hofstra is no UNC or Duke, no, but they are expected to be a pretty decent squad this season and tonight’s “ugly” win will likely go down as a “good win” when the Committee starts looking at resumes in March.

^Caleb, whom I *think* will be a key reserve by the end of the season (5-10 min / game).

We are deep, so the more aggressive the better.
