One of the realistic preseason goals for Dave Doeren’s second team — after a 3-8 (0-8) 2013 campaign and one of the nation’s youngest and talent-deficient teams in 2014 — was bowl eligibility.
That goal was achieved after the 42-13 win against Wake Foest on Senior Day.
