Rest of Weekend Open Football Thread

It’s all a prelude to PeyPey putting an end to the Chefs fluky undefeated season. But there are several good games in the 3:30 window – Okie State at Texas (Fox), Georgia at Auburn (CBS), Sparty at Nebraska (ABC/ESPN2), Miami at Duke (ESPNU).

Stanford at USC (8:00, ABC) could also be watchable.

Baylor’s bubble may be bursting. 0-14 to Texas Tech.

  2. Wulfpack 11/16/2013 at 7:59 PM #

    Texas Tech up on Baylor.

  3. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 8:03 PM #

TT/Baylor has Gus Johnson. Hopefully they have a wacky 4th quarter too.

  4. Wulfpack 11/16/2013 at 8:06 PM #

Baylor going down. Now down 2 scores.

  5. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 8:10 PM #

I’m betting the final score will be video game worthy.

Surprise of the day is South Cakalaky laying an egg at home against Florida, playing with like its 5th string QB.

  7. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 8:17 PM #

Baylor cuts the lead to 20-14. Still almost 2 mins left in the first QUARTER.

Sad trombone for the Starkville ‘shroomers (that’s Miss St, btw)

  9. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 9:37 PM #

    Chickens still choking LOL

  10. Wufpacker 11/16/2013 at 9:50 PM #

    Hehehe…hate when that happens.

    SoCar up 2 late.

Miss State is driving on Alabama, trailing by 10 late in the third.

It’s been a pretty interesting night.

And Florida tosses an INT to kill their last chance against the Coots. Was hoping the Gators could pull off the upset.

  13. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 11:02 PM #

Now down to whether Stanford gags against the Men of Troy. Tied late in the 4th, very sloppy game.

  14. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 11:20 PM #

    The answer is yes. 20-17.

Was. Greg games tonight. USC – Stanford game was epic. Love listening to USC’s band …then there’s those cheerleaders.

What? No love for Nevada/San Jose St late night?

    You lightweights.

Giraffe stall in the red zone, settle for FG to make it 3-0 over the dead Falcons.

Just 7 hours left until sweet PeyPey magic!!!!

    Glennon’s Bucs now up 38 to 6 over Falcons…

Glennon is 18-21 for 216yds, 2 Tds and no Ints….

Not bad for Russell’s old backup…
or anybody who QB’s the Bucs…

We gotta give MG a whole lot of credit for making the most out of his shot at starting in the NFL…

  19. Wulfpack 11/17/2013 at 5:27 PM #

    Absolutely on MG.

Can’t wait for the big one tonight. Love both those teams and coaches.

And then you get a treat Monday night. Red hot all world defense Panthers and Brady and the Pats.

Pack QBs go 2-1 in the NFL today…

If Chargers had a Defense… it would have been even better.

  21. BJD95 11/17/2013 at 7:50 PM #

TJ Graham also caught a TD pass, and Manny Lawson recovered a fumble to set up a score.

Hauschka nailed another from 50+ to continue his 1st team all-pro caliber season. I hope DD’s recruiting lands some other alums in the ranks to replace this fine generation!

Now time to make it happen, PeyPey. And to think there’s actually a good MNF game to look forward to, for a change.

  22. choppack1 11/17/2013 at 7:57 PM #

Say what you want about tob but few coaches prepped a qb better for the NFL than Dana Bible.

  23. Texpack 11/17/2013 at 8:31 PM #

    Belmont over the Holes

  24. Fastback68 11/17/2013 at 8:34 PM #

Get well soon John Fox. I could tell he had lost weight but did not know he was scheduled for eventual surgery.

  25. BJD95 11/17/2013 at 9:57 PM #

There’s no doubt Dana Bible was an outstanding QB coach. Glennon is remarkably prepared for pro ball, mentally.

I didn’t even know the Holes were playing. LMFAO
