The time is near, and my insides are already bubbling with rage. Obviously, I will be in no shape to LiveBlog, but will be glad to see everyone in the comments.

Dear God, don’t let us lose this one. Would be extra nice for it to be a blowout. Please.

    You’ve got to have play makers on O. I love schadrach but this O didn’t make a single big play on O. Not one.

    Wow. Monte Kiffin didn’t ever live down the on side kick. Not sure DD will live down the fake punt. Really disappointed in the coaching so far this year. We suck talent wise for sure but we also play below our talent level.

    We had no business winning this game. Played like absolute monkeyshit. Only Carolina and Fedora’s own incompetence even kept the score deceptively close.

    NIU is 8-0 this season sans DD.

    That might be more of a statement than anything else.

    @Texpack: Not seeing the improved in-game coaching we’d hoped for this year either…would have hoped for some noticeable improvement as the year progressed…we are destined for the cellar in 2013. TOB getting last laugh from his beach house.

    UNC was MUCH better last year than this year. Coaching lost today’s game plain and simle. TOB would have blundered some coaching decisions but today’s game was an avalanche of them.

    If there’s not significant improvement next season then is a change made?

    I see the negatives, and you don’t get a total pass in year one. I want to stay on board, but this has been a rough year even with our depleted roster and usual thousands of injuries.

    IMHO, Holes’ dropoff in personnel is roughly the same as ours. They dropped from pretty good to mediocre, we dropped from average to dumpster fire.

    We have a coach who got the job by coasting on someone else’s laurels. It’s pretty clear to me he is in over his head.

    As long as recruiting is going well (and it’s much better than all but one TOB class)…you’d be crazy to do anything until the 2015 season plays out.

    Are you guys nuts? Doeren will be one of the greatest coaches in the history of NC State. This was anything but a coaching loss. He knew Mitchell was not going to pass his way to winning this game. How many INT’s did he have? 2 or 3? Turns out PT is our best QB. When you are left with a bare cupboard, you do the best with what you do have, and more importantly do not have.

    ^Fair enough. Just seems like a lot of negativity for a year one coach.
