    2 out of 10 I think – 20%

  2. Wufpacker 11/16/2013 at 8:42 PM #

    PackAmy is correct.

Thanks PackAmy … wow, that’s scary.

Try to keep away from bees 🙂

  4. Wufpacker 11/16/2013 at 8:45 PM #

    2 of 12 now

  5. Alpha Wolf 11/16/2013 at 8:47 PM #

    NCSU – 81

    watch ESPN sucks here

  8. PackAmy 11/16/2013 at 8:50 PM #

I never thought we would be really good this year but 2 out of 12 free throws is a little scary.

  9. BJD95 11/16/2013 at 8:51 PM #

My feed was great once again. No idea how it’s been so much better for me this year, but worse for everyone else.

  10. tractor57 11/16/2013 at 8:51 PM #

almost saw some good minutes from Anya – if ESPN would deliver what they promised

  11. Wufpacker 11/16/2013 at 8:55 PM #

BJD, you are obviously a bandwidth sucker.

  12. wufpup76 11/16/2013 at 8:59 PM #

^tractor57, I missed literally half the scores in the second half. The feed would skip one minute backwards, then two minutes forward. It also seemed to know precisely when a player was about to shoot, because the shot would be in the air and then all of a sudden someone’s just randomly dribbling around.

Fun times 🙂 … I’m thankful for Espn3, but holy moly haha

Don’t blame ESPN, blame TWC RoadRunner and if you have DSL streaming is next to impossible.

Enjoyed listening to the radio broadcast minus GH and Tony…here’s a revelation from tonight’s game: Patrick Kinas should be The Voice of the Wolfpack for men’s sports. This guy’s call is professional, on time, accurate, and -dare i say it- exciting. He is so smooth with the play-by-play call… Way better than Ned Flanders… I mean, Gary Hahn. At the color spot, i can deal with Tony — tonight’s fill-in, Mark Thomas, isnt ready, or talented enough for that position.

Sadly, since losing the great Wally Ausley, I believe an entire generation has now had to suffer through the bumbling, inaccurate, sometimes apathetic play-by-play of Hahn. Really, when i hear his call, it makes me think of 20+ years of mostly mediocre or bad teams. Maybe thats not even fair, but its how i see it(or hear it). I think the athletic program as a whole is making positive progress under Yow and Woodson. Maybe its time we step it up in the broadcast booth as well. I wonder if anyone else agrees?

    You are not alone, 8pack.

Ned Flanders’, check that, Gary Hahn’s shortcomings were discussed in length in a forum thread several years ago.

I’m not a fan, of the man or his ‘talent’.

I was once in a golf foursome with him at charity event many years ago. The man had a slight case of hollywood superiority syndrome; acted as if we were beneath him.

“The wolfpack’s biggest weakness was 2 out of 12 at the ft line compared to Campbell’s solid 8 for 19.” Mike potter – charlotte fish wrapper. I feel better, they missed more than us.

    Freeman/Anya combined stat line:

    34 minutes, 6-7 FG, 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 blocks, 5 fouls.

This works so keep it up. JV and Washington need to be used sparingly.

  18. lush 11/17/2013 at 10:15 AM #

^ that works for what exactly, two guys giving a combined good big man stat line v a crappy opponent?

We would need JV and Washington more, not less, to combine for the other combined big man stat line, if that’s all we’re getting out of two starters.

I thought Mike Manascalco (sp?) called the game on the radio last night?

  20. TeufelWolf 11/17/2013 at 3:54 PM #

I was at the game. Observations:
-most ‘complete’ game yet for the team
-Barber and Anya took two noticeable steps fwd today; Freeman was visibly better as well
-I almost want to accuse Anya of losing a little wt
    -Turner can shoot!
    -yes, FTs were a problem
-Campbell fans showed up and were surprisingly super obnoxious.
-Lewis w/ 9 assists and 1 turnover. I’ll take that.
-TJ is ridiculous good. I can’t remember seeing someone who can score from anywhere like him (playing for us). Even his misses were so “near” if that makes any sense.
-the Brat Stop is where it’s at in the PNC Arena

    Watched the replay this afternoon

Echo the props to Baby Huey and Freeman

If Lewis doesn’t shoot better you won’t be able to keep him on the floor that much

    I miss Scott Wood

Dez Lee has to shoot better on the perimeter or his driving game will evaporate.

I’ll be interested to see if Lewis and Barber improve their ability to make the reads in the UCLA offense as much as Brown did during his first year running it. That will be key for our postseason fate.

  22. tjfoose1 11/17/2013 at 10:11 PM #

^What?! WBS is a rebounding machine! He lead the entire team with 8.

  23. tjfoose1 11/17/2013 at 10:12 PM #

    How ’bout them Belmont Bruins!

  24. Mike 11/18/2013 at 8:38 AM #

Talk about poor FT shooting on our part, how about shooting 22-48 from the line. No doubt cost UNX the game.

More importantly though, how does one team shoot 48 FT’s? Fouls Belmont 31, UNX 19. While one could say the more talent draws more fouls, to be skewed that far off…….. On the other hand, give Belmont credit – in spite of the foul disparity, they played well and led at the half and I believe in double digits in 2nd half.

OK, I just caught up reading the post, and the only thought that comes to mind is… What is the difference between a Camel and a hooker?
