The anti-climactic finish to the 2013 Football season is mercifully over.

At least for us.

Time to reload those fragile emotions for basketball.

    R. Turner sux. Buckets isn’t feeling it yet. Suffering from poor ball handling/decisions against one of the best defensive teams in the country (who’s also a veteran team).

    Will not be surprised if we lose tonight.

    So far tonight, it’s Tyler Lewis and the four dwarves.

    Aside from him, everyone else looking to go all weave and heave.

    We think the only way to bust a zone is shooting 3’s and we just can’t make them. Even when we get around the basket we can’t convert, they are all forced and hurried.

    WBS has hit a couple of shots and Cat (when in the game) will take it to the basket but it looks like a pick up game for the boys in R&W.

    Surprised we were able to whittle it down to 6 at the half as we give up a long distance 3 at the end.

    As fluid as we looked against FGCU we look just like we did against against NCCU. It’s not even the freshmen that are the issue either, just are clueless in attacking the zone.

    We looked awful against that zone until Barber started getting some penetration. Credit to EKU, but some ( a lot) of that was our lack of execution.

    Typical 45 footer at the horn for the opposition. I don’t think Turner sucks, but that certainly wasn’t his finest half. Still, as badly as we were outplayed we’re only down six.

    I’m an optimist, but it’s obvious to me we are bad at basketball as well. We are too small and are not executing the high post well. We have little ability to penetrate and continue to rely on outside shots. I will continue to cheer for the Pack but my expectations are low.

    What has turner done this year to make you think he doesn’t suck? His inability to make any shots? His horrible defense and high foul rate?

    I’m not watching as there is just way too much great football on but I could have told anyone after the Central loss that if you want to beat the Pack this year, just zone us. Cuse is licking their chops (not really as we are irrelevant).

    The way things are going, I would play Wallace over Turner for a while and see how it goes.

    V is te only big man who knows how to run the high post but he was hanging out under the basket and baseline the entire first half.

    Hopefully Bukets heats up this half because he was MIA in the first.

    ^Tbh, not much … I think there is potential though. We need someone to hit outside shots – he has shown that he can. That half was terrible though.

    Wallace is shooting the ball better than Turner, that’s for certain. Can’t be any worse on Defense. Turner is constantly getting beat off the dribble.

    ^I have zero problem with this. Wallace is clearly the superior shooter. It doesn’t really matter if there’s a dropoff on D as Turner is always in foul trouble as 1.21 alluded.

    When we hustle, have good shot selection, and don’t look all panicky and sh-t….we don’t look too terrible.

    I guess that goes without saying tho.
