Former UNC football tutor Jennifer Wiley appeared in court today, facing charges that she illegally encouraged a former UNC player to sign with a sports agent. Jennifer Lauren Wiley Thompson, is facing four counts of athlete-agent inducement,  a Class I felony that carries a maximum sentence of 15 months in prison and a maximum fine of $25,000 for each offense.
The charges, which were unveiled in a Hillsborough courtroom today allege that Wiley purchased round-trip airfare for Greg Little, as well as making deliveries of packages containing cash to the former player.
More indictments are expected to be unveiled later this week.
