The slate certainly looks like Alabama/TAMU and a whole bunch of nap opportunities. But some other games will turn out more interesting than we expect. That’s the beauty of saturation TV coverage, the more darts thrown, the better chance something will hit.

I will probably mostly watch Everton/Chelsea until 2:30, especially given the weakness of the early games.

Johnny Football does throw some ugly balls.

    Just saying.

Saw a few minutes of the Pitt game. The attendance was awful, maybe a 1/4 full. At least DD doesn’t have that to deal with that, and he will finally get to coach a game where the fans will totally show, and make noise, Thursday night. Let’s take the tiger by the tail. Sure would be nice to see Mitchell back. But whether it be Mitchell or Thomas, win, or at least keep us in the game. Go Pack!

The ACC Network has so many damned commercials we’re lucky that their games don’t run five hours instead of four. That and all the excessive reviews so Ron Cherry can somehow be made to look competent.

No such issue in CLT. In fact we even got the CBS pre game show.

    Beat me to it LRM.

Welcome to ACC Football, circa 2013
    Pitt vs New Mexico.

But hey, Swofford Jr needs something broadcast to fake some reason for his salary

    #F@ckSwofford.

    Haha ‘foose.

That whole Little Swoffy issue still makes me laugh and cringe at the same time.

How that man (big swoffy that is) keeps his job is beyond me.

Wounded duck to the Bama five…1st and goal TAMU

  9. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:47 PM #

    Terrible defense by bama.

  10. Wufpacker 09/14/2013 at 3:47 PM #

Ugly or not, he puts ’em where they need to be.

    TAMU up quickly 7-0

  11. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:48 PM #

He sure does. Two of those long throws were perfect.

The ACCN pre-game show reminds me of the WXII Friday Night Football…from the early 90’s.

That’s the quality you get when subsidies, graft, and back room politics replace the free market.

“Two of those long throws were perfect.”

I’m surprised that Alabama is playing man defense with their DB having a horrible height disadvantage.

  15. Wufpacker 09/14/2013 at 3:53 PM #

Bama’s Kouandjio bros are a coupla big boys.

I bet their mama still can’t walk right.

  16. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:55 PM #

Bama better wake up, and do it fast.

  17. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:57 PM #

    Tennessee up on Oregon 7-0.

  18. tjfoose1 09/14/2013 at 3:59 PM #

Chances Oregon scores the games’ next 28 points?

  19. Wufpacker 09/14/2013 at 3:59 PM #

Now THAT was a pretty throw.

Also where it needed to be, incidentally.

  20. tjfoose1 09/14/2013 at 3:59 PM #

Are they just replaying last years’ Bama v AM game?

  21. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 4:00 PM #

    Blowout.

  22. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 4:01 PM #

    ULM beats Wake 21-19. Lol.

  23. tjfoose1 09/14/2013 at 4:04 PM #

When does Bama’s plane land? Do they realize they’ve started the game w/o them?

  24. Wufpacker 09/14/2013 at 4:05 PM #

    In today’s HS scores….

Duke down 10-7 vs GT, but in the red zone…

    Nope…they fail to convert 4th and 1

All of the Duke fans now will moan.

    All four of them.

Checking on the UT/Oregon game made me want either a creamsicle or a peep.

    Can’t decide.
