The slate certainly looks like Alabama/TAMU and a whole bunch of nap opportunities. But some other games will turn out more interesting than we expect. That’s the beauty of saturation TV coverage, the more darts thrown, the better chance something will hit.

I will probably mostly watch Everton/Chelsea until 2:30, especially given the weakness of the early games.

Wake is beyond awful. Even by Atlantic Division cellar standards.

  2. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 2:42 PM #

Wow. UCLA now up by 10. How did that happen?

“Wake is beyond awful. Even by Atlantic Division cellar standards”

Agreed. If we lost to them….

  4. PackFamily 09/14/2013 at 2:46 PM #

^ lose to them. Edit function doesn’t work on my iPhone

I’ll never predict us to win in W-S ever again. We’ve won once there since ’95, and that was Philip’s sophomore year way back in ’01.

It would be just like State to beat Clemson and then lose to Wake. They really do look turble. By the way, even Charles Barkley is rolling with the tide today.

  7. PackFamily 09/14/2013 at 2:49 PM #

Meantime, UCLA has scored 35 unanswered over NE on the road.

  8. BJD95 09/14/2013 at 2:54 PM #

Oh, we could still lose to them. Richmond had us beat in C-F. But we are starting a new era of football, while Wake is not.

Growing pains vs death throes, IMHO.

Beating Clemson on Thursday would be the most surprising result since we randomly won in Death Valley in 1987.

    Zips ahead of Wolverines.

Terry Bowden did not age well.

Funny I was watching that Everton match. They looked a lot better than Chelsea. At least the last twenty minutes I watched. Howard is starting to find his zone again.

I picked UCLA to cover today. They are finally stepping up.

A lot of parity. If MI loses I will dance a jig. Big whatever is Oveeerrattted!

Amato is still the DC up at Akron, right?

  14. Gowolves 09/14/2013 at 3:08 PM #

Alpha I think you are right

  15. LRM 09/14/2013 at 3:08 PM #

    ^Yes.

  16. Wufpacker 09/14/2013 at 3:14 PM #

Can’t believe Wake is still in this.

    Wow.

  17. PackerInRussia 09/14/2013 at 3:14 PM #

Wuf, you beat me to the partial qualifier comment. And I would have never guessed that was Terry Bowden. I also completely forgot about Chuck Amato at Akron. Go PQU!

  18. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:16 PM #

VT’s kicker had missed an extra point and three FGs as the Hokies hold on to a tight 3 point lead late at ECU. What has happened to VT special teams?

  19. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:18 PM #

Ball game. VT’s defense seals it with a safety.

  20. BJD95 09/14/2013 at 3:18 PM #

Poor clock management by Akron. Really poor.

  21. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:21 PM #

    Amato must be coaching.

  22. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:23 PM #

    Michigan wins.

  23. Wulfpack 09/14/2013 at 3:29 PM #

    Alright boys it is showtime.

  24. LRM 09/14/2013 at 3:31 PM #

Just another reason why the expanded ACC sucks: Pitt-NM on ACCN running long on WRAL past the start of Bama-TAMU.

  25. PackFamily 09/14/2013 at 3:32 PM #

WRAL said they would switch over to TAM/AL
