    Speaking of Syria Obama has pretty much backed himself into a corner of at least lobbing a few cruise missles.

    Speaking of the Pack – first game of the season with all the expected ups and downs but at least the score is on the good guys side.

    Some props to Thomas for making the effort. Looks like he might get some more playing time with the injury. Defense looked really good in spots and not so good in others – maybe the typical game 1.

    PPF – this is just war and peace, not something important like an NC State game or post-game thread. Proportionate force and all that.

    And Ron Swanson is one of my favourite TV characters of all time.

    on the positive side…. I’m pretty sure the Syrian President is not ‘enjoying’ all the International attention he is getting and is earnestly looking for a way to ‘back down’ , albeit by Arabian terms…

    As Mr. Dog might say…..
