Round of 32 Open Thread, Redux

Fred Hoiberg’s bunch giving the Buckeyes all they can handle. Here’s to more competitive basketball (though Marquette/Butler was epic), and two blue losses today.

    METH:

    Not even once.

Except for Marshall Henderson. Then – a lot.

How will Miami screw it up now? They certainly will never get a rebound again, it seems.

Rion Brown is gonna miss at least once.

  4. elvislives 03/24/2013 at 11:15 PM #

Nope. Miami to the Final Four and more.

Who would have ever thought Miami would be ACC’s best chance at a championship? Having a bunch of 23 year olds and one badass point guard helps a lot.

Glad Miami is advancing, but really tough break for Illinois on that call. Ouch …

    Go figure…

    I like Jim Larranaga….alot…
    I hate the’Canes….

Blame that on my FSU connections…..

Agreed 78, and the guy who pulls the bball hoop over onto the hood is pretty funny too. But the hibachi torching the opened rear hatch just kills me for some reason, lol.

    It just goes….clang..WHOOOOSH!!!!

Good for Larranaga and the Canes! Off to sleep so I don’t ruin a nice day with a Duke win.

Stupid Gamble photo-bombing hahaha … That was pretty funny

How is that not a travel every time the Ill. dude cradles the ball and drives?

  12. wufpup76 03/24/2013 at 11:22 PM #

Oh look – Duke’s already in the bonus. Shocking.

I hated on Larkin for a lot of this year. I laughed when people would suggest he was a better point guard than Brown. I saw him play a few good games but I just didn’t think Larkin was that good. I have been proven wrong time after time after time. I get it now.

Miami’s strength is they have role players that know their role. Many, if not all, of the advancing teams have these players. Role players aren’t born, nobody signs a letter of intent to become a role player – everybody wants to be the man. Role players are coached into becoming valuable pieces of their team.

Watching some great team basketball this weekend makes me long for State to develop some strong role players.

Jefferson has played great for Duke for these extended minutes.

Is he crying about the game or is it because the guy to the left just dumped him?

Alpha and Heavy… please come clean the coffee off my screen after seeing your two posts!

Elvis – Good point on the experience and the role players. Say a guy like CJ Williams, or Alex Johnson, or DeShawn Painter.
