    I’ve never heard Lenny Elmore this positive about anything! Eagle fever indeed. Their bookstore better be ready for a deluge of swag orders.

    That was awesome. Impossible not to like these kids.

    I’m also very impressed by Jamaal Franklin. I think he tries to play hero ball at times, but he’s a great competitor. I thought it was great to see him encouraging Brown to keep going at the end of the game.

    Due to complete laziness, I just suffered through one of Seth Davis’ hypocritical speeches. He just praised Andy for the Bank’s unscripted/loose style of play. “Frankly, I wish more coaches would teach this…” Hasn’t he criticized Gott and State for the exact same thing?

    Fun play from earlier – Kadji jumping over a guy on a fast break. At the last second, the I’ll defender ducks his head and raises his hand, grabbing Kadji’s nuts in the process.

    All those things in tandem with the shaved head. If you’re a muscular black guy, you can pull that off. But not really for skinny white dudes.

    One good thing came out of this tournament. I learned what channel TruTV is on my cable.

    OK, one thing came out of it…good is probably a huge overstatement.
