Congratulations to Wolfpack Women’s senior guard Marissa Kastanek who was named to the All-ACC first team by the league’s 12 head coaches.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State senior guard Marissa Kastanek was named first team All-ACC by the league’s 12 head coaches on Monday.
This award comes on the heels of being named a first-team Academic All-American last month, as well as earning post graduate scholarships from both the ACC and the NCAA.
Kastanek, from Lincoln, Neb., ranks second on the Wolfpack in scoring at 12.6 points per game. She also ranks fifth in the ACC with 2.1 three-pointers per game, while her 37.6 percent shooting from downtown is eighth in the league.
She ranks 10th in school history with 1,607 career points, and her 235 three-pointers are second in the Wolfpack record book.
