GT game thread

We have won four of the past five and are still on track for a 11-7 if not better record. This is a road game so it will not be as boring as the last game but this one will not come down to a final shot.
I think we win by 8 points. 79-71.

    He sure has, BJD. I don’t understand those stretches where he plays poor defense and misses free throws, but when he turns it on, it’s on.

    Like the announcers said early on, State has had great success with the dribble drive. Seems like something good happens every time they do it. Calvin did go 1 on 2, but made up for it with the pass to Purvis.

    Don’t agree with the last 2 shots by Woo and Calvin, but GT cooperated with their misses. Take it to the rack boys!

    Someone text Gott and tell him if you keep a 10 point margin (positive of course) all the way to the final buzzer, odds are, you WILL win….

    GT seems a little bit addled, but I said the same thing about Miami and they almost pulled out one when they were down 10 with a little over a minute to go…

    Tired little chicken legs for CJ. If you’re going to hold the ball on the inbound to draw the foul, as opposed to passing the damn ball, you better make them. Dislike.

    My KINGDOME for a Calvin made FT…..then GT responds with an NBA PLUS 3.

    Gonna be interesting…..the line is 4….which is about right. We are probably a 9 – 10, but GT gets 4 -5 for Home Court.

    BJD, I think the call was that GT stepped on the baseline while in contact with the ball, but not in possession. Thus no shot clock recycle, but no arrow change either.

    Mrs. Coach G is tweeting from the arena…..somewhat critical of a dumb broad with a Marlboro voice yelling in her ear and also some of the “masses” contained in the gold spandex outfits.

    Glad to get the win, especially a road win, but damn that was ugly and the final score sure doesn’t reflect how bad we struggled against an awful GT team.
