Elite Eight Sunday

Syracuse and Wichita State have already punched their tickets for Atlanta.

Michigan and Florida going at it as I type.  So far the Wolverines are taking the Gators’ lunch money and kicking them in the nads for good measure….41-17 at the under 4 timeout of the first half.

Duke and Louisville go at it a bit later.

Talk amongst yourselves….

Louisville and Syracuse in the ACC…hard to fathom, but raises the bar for all current schools in what will become unquestionably the most competitive and best basketball conference in the country….

NCSU had best lose the chemistry problems, recruits should embrace the opportunity to be at STATE, and STATE needs to get its game face on to avoid perennial 4th place and lower finishes….

What is the latest on Purvis and any other potential transfers…?

Seriously, (no foolin’), could the ACC in its brazen arrogance have wrecked a finer conference than the Big East? They looted them almost a decade ago for their best football programs & Va Tech has run amok in the ACC & its “championship” game (we’re fortunate, frankly, that Miami has been WAY down in the interim)… Now, we basically nueter what’s left by cherry picking bball programs..

Say what you want about swofford – he’s swings a massive, arrogant pair of… Charter members had better step up or we’ll be remembered as the little programs that couldn’t.

Just read where Ryan Harrow is transferring to that bball powerhouse Ga.State. Supposedly to be closer to ill father.
My guess is his father may have a cold or arthritis ( sarcasm but how many times is that excuse used?)

If this Purvis xsfer talk is legit (& I don’t think it is myself) then RP should take a look at Amile Jefferson’s p.t.
I haven’t noticed him on floor much for duke & he didn’t even play Fri.night.
Point being that the more successful programs don’t seem to have a lot of transfer talk from freshman yet we always do.
Beginning to seem to me that certain media outlets stir things up just to get a response
& many of our State brethren follow suit. Just as Gott to l.a. was a waste of time I think R.P. xsfer rumours are too.
Talk if it happens otherwise its just more negative energy around State for the public to observe.
