This one was pretty simple, Maryland guarded the 3 and prevented Duke from winning from behind the arc. That and Maryland hit their Free Throws and made their 3’s.

1st Half:

A tight game until the final 3 minutes when UNC made a mini-run. If FSU can cut down on the turnovers and defend the 3 better I think they can win.

    Exactly. Md needs another win, and a win over FSU is marginal. A win over UNC would be better.

    Yeah, I think UVA is for sure out too. MD would get consideration with one more win, and just playing in the final would raise their RPI, right?

    I can’t believe Jefferson didn’t even play.

    He was, relatively speaking, awesome for them this year, and significantly better than Alex Murphy.

    Jefferson hardly did anything for Duke.

    RPI would depend on opponent. FSU, not much of a bump. UNC, a much better bump. Looks like it will be UNC.

    Can we get a clip of TL’s behind the back dime to Woo draining a three for tomorrow? It seems like the ACC site only does “must see” clips as dunks. I mean, Rodney’s dunk was cool but it was against the VPI walk on’s.

    Channeling it’s inner-Herb, Iowa has folded down the stretch and lost their lead.

    They’re now pressing every shot, and are about to trail Michigan St. by 6 with about two minutes to go. This after leading by double digits for a lot of the game.

    The bubble seems to be really “small” this year. Could go either way for many of these teams. I do think if MD were to beat UNC tomorrow they will be right there, and will get a whole lot of attention nationally.
