No. 7 Maryland vs. No. 2 Duke, 7 p.m. (Duke -13 vs Maryland)
No. 6 Florida State vs. No. 3 North Carolina, 9:30 p.m. (UNC -8 vs. FSU)

Game 3: Twerps/Duke

This one was pretty simple, Maryland guarded the 3 and prevented Duke from winning from behind the arc. That and Maryland hit their Free Throws and made their 3’s.

Game 4: FSU/UNC

1st Half:

HALFTIME: 35-27 UNC

A tight game until the final 3 minutes when UNC made a mini-run. If FSU can cut down on the turnovers and defend the 3 better I think they can win.

    Hairston is cold blooded lethal. I can’t believe he was on the bench earlier this year. Not one of Roy’s finer moments. He very well could go to the NBA. He is also a very solid rebounder for his size.

    If Howell is really banged up then going toe to toe with Fat Boy is going to worsen the situation. Maybe Gott can reduce his minutes and play some zone-even throw JV in there. BC had some real success when they went 2-3 today and I’m sure Lutz is putting in a late night with the film. Speaking of which, Nite Irene, Goodnight.     Maybe Lewis, Purvis, and perhaps VBerg can give more quality minutes, the minutes are racking up for the other guys.

    Re Carolina, still the hottest team in the ACC. Statistically it’s probably between them and Miami for the title.
