    Philly Packer.

    WRAL ran Gott’s comments, then cut to a local reporter in the rain at NCSU. Interviewed students about upcoming Dirty Bingo event.

    The Drudge teaser was with another headline where Illinois University is or has brought an (elderly if she was a star in the 70’s and 80’s) Ex (I assume) Porn Star to teach students how to have better (or maybe have) orgasms…

    The student activities board has already backed away (watch out for the plug) from offering the “prizes” and will only offer condoms….

    I thought it was really WEIRD, juxtaposed between Gottfried and then Mikey’s comments….

    OK….the UNC getting little “billing” referred to the comments today from the Consolidated University BOG and their “committee”. It was totally BS. Several of the members felt that it needed MORE investigation. Several felt it was overblown (wonder what color panties THEY wear?). Typical Academia Approach. No conclusions. No Action.

    Some PUNTED and said it will be up to the Orange County DA to see if charges are appropriate…..

    WOW, Channeling the CowDog. Man, I did have a double (OK…it was more like a triple) Tequila…..but WOW….what a weird experience THAT would be.

    NOW, you got me started……I have just read, “Proof of Heaven” by Dr. Eben Alexander. I have a BS and understand scientific theories and the need to explain “things”, but after having read his book, I now know that there are things in this universe that can not be explained. CowDog (just kidding) is one, but if I were channeling him, then I would truly THINK that I was having a Near Death Experience (NDE).

    Seriously folks, this is a SHORT and GREAT read. I saw him on a morning talk show and the guy is the real deal and his 7 day coma and his NDE is truly remarkable….

    Back to the game…..BEAT CLEMSON.

    The FT disparity was warranted, we reacted soooo slow last night, so can’t complain there. My biggest gripe is IMO we should have worked to draw more charges vs Plumlee. We gave ground, gave ground, dunk. We drew one charge when there were other opportunities. Did not move our feet take advantage of him lowereing his shoulder. Leslie cannot guard him-too much weight advantage. We need bigs next year in a bad way. Vandenberg , who I was so hoping would turn into something, is useless. Can’t score, can’t defend. Finally can Wood shoot with someone in his face every once ina while? try it? Other guys shoot and make shots with our guys in their faces. We needed some comeback 3’s and a hand in Wooods face taking a 3 would have been better than some of the other crap CJL and Purvis throw up sometimes….

    Had a few min before the next call and read through most of this game thread. Tip ‘o the hat to THECowDog…seems he was the only one on the thread who had any fun last night.

    What is it with Wood at the end of most games? I am not saying all games but most games why he is at half court making it hard to get the ball to him in order to get fouled for the easy 2 on the line. When we need some 3 pt shots attempted he is not getting the ball either by what I see lack of effort at times or us not setting screens for him.

    I know he is not the most athletic player but either the team needs to do a better effort getting him the ball or Purvis Brown, and Lewis are going to have to hit more from that range to allow the pressure to be off of him.

    We go inside because that is us no question, but when you are trading 3 pts for 2 pts then we will have a tough time. I think the percentages say we will see it again sometime this year and maybe more than we want to.
