Pack/Holes “House Money” Game Thread

Much less anxious today, just want the Pack to go out there and give it their best shot. Let the chips fall where they may.

As I said before the BC game, the old adage of “it’s hard to beat the same team three times” is a load of BS. Unfortunately, that works both ways. Henson is out, though…

A few interesting points of note:

* Today is Jim Valvano’s birthday. He would have been 66 years old today.

* Tomorrow is the 32nd anniversary of Black Sunday when Duke and UNC both lost in the NCAA Tournament in Reynolds Coliseum to Penn and St. John’s, respectively.

* It was in the ACC Tournament EXACTLY 25 years ago that Jim Valvano’s NC State swept through the Big Four (Duke, Wake, UNC-CH) to win the ACC Championship in Landover, Maryland. UNC was UNDEFEATED in the ACC that year and ranked #1 in the country.

I think Bilas is making an overt effort to be an insufferable tool.

    Jeremy,
I would say we are in the top 4. Much better way to say it

“I think Bilas is making an overt effort to be an insufferable tool.”

He does not have to make an effort. He does it naturally

Rick, that’s why we can afford to play DeThaey. Don’t need 5 offensive weapons on the floor without Henson’s presence.

Here comes no Hensen knob slobbing

Bills is an insufferable tool. He doesn’t have to act like it.

Are we really convinced this is house money? We still only have 1 top 50 win, which I was afraid of. We knocked Virginia out of the top 50.

Marshall actually moved up to 41 and they have a win over Cincy, are 4-4 against the top 50 and 6-9 against the top 100. They have a better esume than State right now.

I’m more worried than when I went to bed.

Well sh*t – if you’re gonna call that against CJW we’re gonna foul out in the first half.

Nice jacket Roy. Good pass, Marshall.

They just gave that TO to McAdoo to keep MArshalls record perfect

  13. Rick 03/10/2012 at 1:44 PM #

Why are we settling for jump shots

  14. ScottieJ2000 03/10/2012 at 1:44 PM #

What surprise… a foul. You know… I was watching the Cali Colo game and the refs actually let them play. It was so smooth and physical. In this league, most of the starters would have fouled out.

His hand did not go under that ball
    Thus begins the screwing

  25. Rick 03/10/2012 at 1:47 PM #

“I think it was a clean call. I used DVR to see it again.”

Which shows you just how conditioned the ACC has made people. The flop is now a “good call”
