Friday Night Revelry/Getting Above the “First Four” Thread

Now that the Pack is 99 percent in the dance…can we skip the Tues/Wed preliminaries? Yes, if everything breaks right.

St Bonaventure’s win helped us, for sure. A Miami win ensures us of 4 Top 50 wins for the season. The hot mess that is the Pac 12 tourney rages onward.

Some games we can now just watch for fun, as we let our heart rates get back to normal. Go Hokies!!

Wow, Baylor trying to make a statement that they’re not as weak as advertised.

Taking it to Kansas right now.

  2. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 9:27 PM #

Down goes Syracuse. Kansas also getting woodshedded by Baylor, which could help us. A Kansas loss probably means UNC can keep their 1 seed without winning the ACCT. Maybe, just maybe, Ol’ Roy takes his foot off the accelerator…

“If we can’t compete at this level given this scenario, then perhaps we do not deserve an invitation. ”

Back away from the ledge…. Win or lose tomorrow we are one of the best 68 teams in the country. Carolina is one of the best 5. We belong in the tourney.

Maybe Baylor is pissed about all of our panning of their fashion sense.

    Cronin is solid, agreed.

Not being able to beat a focused Hole squad in no way makes us un-dance-worthy. It puts us in the same boat as 90 percent of the field, at minimum.

    Nobody f’s with the Jesus.

  8. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 9:34 PM #

Oops, Cuse not dead yet. Veritable zombies, they are.

  9. packbackr04 03/09/2012 at 9:35 PM #

    dirty laundry dude….. the whites

  10. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 9:37 PM #

    Shut the f-ck up, Donnie.

In 40 seconds, Cuse cuts a 10 point lead down to 2. Without any steals.

^agree with BJD – but beat the crap out the Holes anyway! I love that State is in the semi’s with UNX and Dook. Back in the conversation. As it should be. I fully expect the Pack to compete tomorrow. And I get the broadcast!

Man that foul was close to being on the shot.

  13. wolfie91 03/09/2012 at 9:41 PM #

Wow, we have guys that try so hard and can’t make a FT. that fellow couldn’t purposely miss one.

  14. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 9:41 PM #

Cincy holds on, and shoots up the seeding line. Rock chalk back within 6.

Glad I didn’t watch any of the Duke second half.

The Guerilla Bears are losing their lead against Kansas.

I was just thinking to myself… if everybody comes back for next season (talking ’bout Lutz and Leslie) and we manage to land Amile….

    shot my wad

  17. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 9:45 PM #

I think we can at least stay within 10 if Henson doesn’t play. But I hope he plays because good sportsmanship and Karma.

All I ask if that we make them play their best to get a W, and don’t let them clown around the whole second half. We can do that. Just play relaxed.

Guerilla Bears, priceless. See how witty we can be once we aren’t bubble anxious? 🙂

I don’t understand Lunardis fascination with Washington. They needed us/Miami/Texas to lose for a slot to open up. They certainly are not in ahead of us. The PAC 12 is garbage and should be happy there is an autobid.

I do appreciate the Pack making it worthwhile for me to get up at 3:30 AM this morning to watch them play in Singapore. It makes my breakfast a little better. 😉

My wife and kid thought Baylor looked like a road construction crew this morning on Sports Center.

“Guerilla Bears, priceless. See how witty we can be once we aren’t bubble anxious?”

^I know, I’m just glad I’m not taking liquid poops from being so nervous.

Fringe – that’s dedication … This makes me … Proud. And I cannot see Washington getting in. A terrible profile.

  22. wufpup76 03/09/2012 at 9:56 PM #

Ole Miss up 1 on Tenn w/ 5:00 to play

  23. Alpha Wolf 03/09/2012 at 9:56 PM #

Duran Scott deemed ineligible for Miami. Ryan Brown to start.

This could be a problem for the Canes out on the perimeter.

  24. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 10:02 PM #

Yeah, you don’t want to run a shallow rotation against the Noles. They’ll wear you down.

  25. BJD95 03/09/2012 at 10:03 PM #

Another thought on the Baylor unis – it looks like what GI Joe would wear to a rave.
