    Dogbreath, Sid’s first year we beat Duke on Thursday. They were the 7 seed and we were the 10. I think we beat UVA in the semis.

    Game plan. Get the ball to Calvin everytime until someone decides to double team him. Every game he gets a little better and a little better. I just hope he stays next year. What Mr. Calvin needs is some girlfriend that keeps him in Raleigh

    Our bigs need to realize that we will miss every first shot near the rim, and crash the weak side. Calvin did a great job of getting follow shots and cleaning up garbage last night.

    There’s a really good chance Miami will beat FSU if they make it by GT. Larranaga can coach circles around Hamilton, especially in a tourney. That one has me worried, as Miami is also capable of beating Duke.

    But if Miami beats FSU, their RPI should get in them back in the top 50, which gives us three Top 50 wins. I’m counting UVA because we are looking at what gets us in the tourny. Lose and it’s a mute point. So is it better for us to have 3 top 50 wins and hope the ACC gets 6 teams, or is it better for Miami to lose early and fall off the bubble? Or maybe Miami wins and still does not reach the top 50. Way to many varibles. I guess we should pull against all bubble teams.

    I’d say pull for Miami. Assuming we beat UVa and Miami keeps winning I think there is a good chance both Miami and State get in. If Miami loses in the first rd I think we may need to win 3 games in the tourny to get in the NCAA.

    This is assuming we beat BC…

    Pulling for Miami to beat GT and then fall to FSU.

    Then, if we beat UVA I’d have to think we get the bid over Miami if it’s an either/or situation.
