    Clemson looks all the part of a 100+ RPI team, and it looks like we’ll lose to them. We will if we don’t get it together. Hello 7th place.

    We’re the only team in the league that gets called for a travel when there was clearly no traveling. Seriously, who else does that happen to?

    I actually missed the first 3-4 minutes due to @#$()@*$# ESPN3’s confusion about whether or not the game was actually blacked out in my area. When it finally came online, we were up.

    God, I hate living in the DC area during ACC sports seasons. There’s a ton of Big East, A10 and and Colonial League games on. The ACC games become splits, and I end up with non-compelling ones like MD/GT.

    It does seem that we are thinking about mailing this one in from this point on. Didn’t have a problem with the effort in the 1st. We look like a tired team.

    Calvin draws the foul. By cutting to the basket. Lather, rinse, repeat.

    Jennings is a good player. And we totally can’t adjust to the fact that he’s a lefty.

    “Inside against the zone” are words that we’ve heard far, far too often today. They’re also words that should never be said against a 2-3.

    Man, we need to go scout Syracuse in the offseason. I love 2-3, but their version is light years tougher than ours.

    Not sure how you could prove this, but I suspect mental toughness and intense defense go hand-in-hand. We don’t play intense defense and we don’t seem mentally tough most of the time. Which is why we’re not kicking Clemson’s arse right now. They don’t impress me. We’ve given them just about everything they’ve had today. Way too many easy paths to the hoop.

    In all fairness, after the Lowe years and actually losing talented contributors, we should be sucking. It’s going to take more than one season to turn this program into an above average team. Does that make it any less frustrating to watch? Lawd, no.

    Still in this game, despite playing like poop.

    This is the kind of game that if we win, could send us on a roll.
