    Looking at the box score, we lead in every category, except turnovers and free throws/fouls. That’s a recipe for a heart-breaker.

    Yes, the hirings of Bennett, Brownell, and Donahue will make the conference look like the Big 10 of the east.

    You have to think Atlanta will be empty during the ACC tourney. Who wants to watch 9 teams play boring slow down basketball

    When the lead got to 8, thought we were cooked. But we are fighting back very nicely, with Calvin leading the way.

    It must be frustrating as a player to be innundated with poor and inconstiant calls game after game. It must be even more frustrating than watching.

    Wolfy85: A lot of the recent coaching hires in the ACC want to play this style and Brownell is one of them. The trend started when UVA hired Bennett, but Donohue, Gregory, Brownell, Bzz, Turg and even Larranga to some extent all want to do it.

    I think teams have decided that they can’t run up and down with the blues, so they’re going to have to play stall ball. Unfortunately it is going to make for some uninteresting basketball for those who like a freer flowing game.

    It will be interesting to see what happens to recruiting. The PAC10 took the air out of the ball collectively about 5-8 years ago. Recruiting really, really fell off.

    Wow, CU has done that on almost every low post play and that is the first call on that reach.

    Wood comes back in the game, badly misses a three pointer. Immediately gets blown by on the defensive end of the court and commits a foul.

    Seems clear Woody needs to ride the bench right now.

    BJD: That’s a trend I’ve noticed recently. I think Calvin is our best player — not just because he is our best athlete. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves for his effort and will.
