    And Johnson gives us the lead…who wood have thought it. As bad as we are playing and leading..is GT that bad or are we not that good.

    How many rebounds does Miller have now…OMG !

    They’re getting out-rebounded at an embarrassing pace. I hope Gott calls them a bunch of vaginas at the half.

    For everyone on the “let’s get more power fowards for centers” kick, we can’t outrebound this goof center for a bad GT team WE NEED SIZE LEGITIMATE BIG MAN PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FSU and UNC will destroy us if we keep giving teams so many offensive rebounds. What is up with that? Lucky to be in this, if it weren’t for GT’s absolute suckage. A good team would have already put us away.

    Painter didn’t even have enough energy to get the ball to the rim.

    Worst half of basketball in a while.

    Still, rebound the ball and be somewhat competent in the 2nd half and we stand a good chance to win. They’re not going to miss wide open 3’s all night.

    GT must be shooting about 20% yet are only down 2 points.

    Gott has to play some bench players. We are tired and we need to open up the bench a little. Even if it is just a few minutes.

    Has Howell’s effort to stay out of foul trouble cost him a LOT of rebounds…..YES!!
    Go back to being aggressive and get the rebounds even if you start to foul.

    Getting crushed on the boards. 13 offensive rebounds in the first half. Just lazy technique on Howell’s part. His body type makes him a gifted rebounder but his technique flat out sucks. He could be a 15-16 rebound guy per game if he actually put his body on someone and boxed out. Calvin’s even worse. Just tries to out jump everybody. And poor Brown, I love the kid, but he can’t break opposing PG’s down off the dribble. Lacks quickness with the ball in hand while penetrating. If he’s not in transition, we really bog down in the halfcourt. AJ looks good tonight. Thank you for coming to play, CJ.

    I’m just glad they’ll have a week off before going to Duke. They need the rest, and the practice.

    Painter does need to be playing. We have a freshman or two who could give 2 minutes here or there.

    If Howell would eliminate the reach fouls 20-25 feet from the basket when he’s hedging screens, he’d have been on the court a lot more. He’s been jobbed by the refs plenty, but his decision making is questionable.

    I don’t get a flu shot. I’ve probably had 3 flu shots my whole life. And I’ve never had the flu.
