I am not sure I have much left in me. FSU has been missing from three for a while now so it means we will probably see their best shooting in weeks. After the last game, I expect the refs to let them play which is to FSU’s advantage.
We can still make the tournament if we win this game.

    Nothing against Wood but when he is off he needs less time on the floor. If he is hot….well he is hot.

    We don’t have another way to successfully attack FSU without Woo.

    We only play 7 because the guys after that are not close to ready and/or really ineffective.

    I’ve lost hope that this team could/should beat any established opponent. Two reasons (actually one, but two individuals).
    Scott Wood is only really good at one facet of basketball-always has, always will be.
    Richard Howell is really good at one facet of basketball-nothing is going to change that at this point.
    90% of high major basketball teams would LOVE to have these two good kids. Difference is that on any established team they would rarely log 20+ minutes in a game. Specific styled role players play role player minutes.
    At State they are supposed to play near the whole damn game and push our program back towards relevance. Good luck to that.
    Pray that Warren and another freshman big can come in and play more than one facet of the game well or get with our status quo predicament.
    As I type this vent Wood worth even one good merit worthy of 5 minutes of game time.

    FSU is a machine so far in second half. Really impressive.

    Woo is not moving at all. He could sprouts roots on offense.

    We look like we’re on the verge of losing by 30 and throwing in the towel.

    No mental fortitude in Raleigh. That’s Gott’s biggest challenge.

    I think the guys need to forget about the significance of all these games (as in having to win a big one to go to the tourney) and just go out, have fun and play basketball.

    Florida State and NC State are really the only two physical teams in the league (ok, maybe Miami). But FSU is bigger, deeper, and more experienced.

    Matchups matter.

    Matchups are not why we are losing this game. This team is playing like a whipped dog.

    In fairness to the guys, we would’ve lost to most if not all the teams in the league today after what happened Thursday.

    Team is mentally defeated. So sad.

    Not game related, but it just seems to fit with how we are playing. I got my renewal form for the Wolfpack Club. Filled it out and went to put it in the envelope. The reply card they provided was about 1/4 of an inch bigger than the envelope they provided. It just seems like NCSU athletics is always a bit off, no matter what the event. Close, but not quite.
