I am not sure I have much left in me. FSU has been missing from three for a while now so it means we will probably see their best shooting in weeks. After the last game, I expect the refs to let them play which is to FSU’s advantage.
We can still make the tournament if we win this game.

    this debacle had nothing to do with the ACC or refs…just ugly performance against a better team, and much more athletic bunch

    our radio crew are such pussies, and into the faux decorum thing that Corch/Googs will never be interviewed on air.

    The calls today were fine. But tossing Gugs and Corch and fucking shoving our player in the chest for staring at a Seminole??

    That’s so bush league as to almost be criminal. It should cement for anyone with open eyes how this league values NC State’s membership.

    Lo wasn’t even SAYING anything. Just a stare down.

    Any ref/player contact is an absolute last resort. But a shove is never, ever appropriate.

    Guess F’in Hess even studies our former players’ tendencies. This has not been a good couple of weeks with regard to NC State and refs to say the least.

    I did not see the shove. What happened?
    That ref should be fired for that. But it is more likely he will be given a bonus and Zo barred from the next game

    After Lo drifted away from the Nole, the ref (not Hess, the guy with the blond crew cut) shoved him right in the chest…HARD. No idea if Lo said something in return before the T or not.

    Hess should be suspended, the other ref should be fired. Immediately. They will get calls of congratulations from Swoffy and Clogherty.

    Put Jim Harricks butt on the bench next year and see if our players continue to fall back into the fetal position. I could care less if we ended up on sanctions-doesn’t the league and It’s officials already treat us as if we ARE on sanctions?

    Unreal that a ref is allowed to attach our player. Now they can use physical intimidation as well as mental.

    Who ever that ref was that shoved Brown in the chest should be fired! Yow should confront Swofford on this.

    What made Hess toss Googs and Corch? What is the precedent for tossing fans? Was Zo also ejected or just a T?

    Our players said all the right things, they had the right body language before game but they were not over the Duke game. How could they be? We as fans are still talking about it. I’m still moping. Gott and his staff have to be feeling it too. We are only human. Still a solid season so far and I’m happy to be tied for 4th place at this point in the season. The list of teams that I would like to see in the tourny keeps growing.

    Va in the quarters
    Fla State in the Semis
    Duke in the Finals.

    Just watched the ref shove … He did shove him, but Clougherty et al. will dismiss it as a “Get out of here before there’s trouble” shove.

    That was the same as*hat that smirked at Brown after he got tripped and fell out of bounds.

    Refs have team “profiling” or something.

    Is there any way anyone can get the ref shoving Zo and Hess kicking Googs and Corch out of the game on Youtube?

    If so I will put something together about it. That is beyond absurd.

    It is like they were giving NCSU the middle finger.

    Man… Just checked the box score… 29% from the floor?!?!?! Good Lawd. I don’t think they would have beaten anyone today shooting like that. Painful.
