If we want to have a chance of making the tournament we need this game. It will be a game of wills. Whichever team can impose their will on the other will win this game. We need a high scoring game.

    I love Scott Wood but he does hurt us at times. Especially with his lack of defense (slow) and his offense is basically a 3. He needs to move more on offense. I really think he is a better 6th man.

    Pace of the game is where we want it. Nice little flurry there to get us back within five. Gotta man up on D and get some transition possessions.

    The issue, as usual, is nobody else can hit from the outside consistenty. Not Zo. Not CJ. Not AJ. Hell, our best outside shooter other than Wood is probably Painter.

    UVA has us right where they want us. 31 points for us. Double that and it is 62. If it is 62, UVA wins going away. We have to pick it up and somebody has to start making some freaking shots.

    Brown and Wood both playing a little sub-par tonight.

    We need to feed the horses in the next half and attempt to hold them under 60% shooting.

    We really do need another outside threat. Alex Johnson is actually a really BAD shooter for a point guard. Zo is not much better. CJW is our 2nd best shooter.

    Why do our bigs insist on putting the ball on the floor in the paint ?

    The sad fact is this team just doesn’t have a very high offensive basketball IQ. They work hard, especially on D, but on the offensive end they just are skilled enough to hang against good teams. Not sure if there’s much of any way to change that quickly enough for this season.

    OK Gott coach them up, we can whip these guys. Mr. Elmore- DT owned you back in the day and there is no way Ralph Sampson was the greatest ACC player ever- he never won anything- folded when it mattered
