The Dark Knight Rises trailer released

I recognize that it is not NC State related.

I recognize that it is not sports related.

Nonetheless, it is ‘stuff that I like related’…so I figured I would share it with you (just as so many different topics are shared on our message forums every day).

Batman: The Dark Knight series comes to a conclusion with the July release of “The Dark Knight Rises”. The first official trailer of for the film was released today and I thought I would share.

There actually is a NC State connection as Bill Cowher is in the movie as the head coach of Gotham City’s football team (the football scenes were shot at Heinz Field with several Steelers players)

Here’s another trailer of the movie, which I like even more. It has shots of Heinz field, as WV Wolf mentioned.

I saw it today in front of Sherlock Holmes. The trailer was awesome. Sherlock Holmes gets a solid A. Excellent movie.

I saw a much more in depth trailer in front MI:Ghost Protocol in IMAX Friday, its worth the cost of the movie by itself……almost.

I have a personal crappy blackberry picture of the batmobile from downtown NY. Also think part of it was filmed on my street in lower east side. Can’t be sure you see so many movie “sets” around NY its rare to actually see the filming.

Also a little known movie related fact, Bumble Bee car from Transformers was t-boned by a black secret service agent SUV when I lived in DC near the “mall”.

I thought it was filmed in Chicago??

Saw it before MI: Ghost Protocol at Imax Friday too. It looks to be excellent and the football scene was…disturbingly realistic.

Ya, Hines Ward can’t run that fast for real anymore. And talk about disturbing, how about the CRoss Colours meets lucha libre gang ensembles?

Very cool. I really look forward to it. As an FYI, the first Hobbit trailer was released tonight on the Hobbit’s Facebook page.
