ESPNU’s morning crew cannot figure out the decision making at UNC. The hypcocrisy between UNC’s words (hyperbole) and UNC’s actions is astounding.

BTW Thorp is a terrible speaker.
He comes off like he should be riding in the Shaggin’ Wagon with Lloyd and Harry to Aspen.

The world is witnessing what the ABCers have known all along. At UNC they talk the talk, but they don’t live it. Its been an environment of above the rules for a long long long time.

So much LOVE stated in the conference…
Baddour was seen giving Thorp some “LOVE…LOVE…LOVE” after the news conference….or will they pay to keep that “hush” too? Its the Carolina Way…..

Do they even have the option of NOT releasing the 216 phone records? Does Butch have a choice in the matter?

That phone was his de facto work phone. The records from his tenure as a STATE employee are and should be a matter of public record (not including his PERSONAL records, of course).

Those records need to be pursued. I thought it was already settled that they ARE considered records of the state.

I don’t know TBK. I do know when they asked if they would be released he(Thorpe) said it was up to Butch. That tells me that no these records are not going to be released.

I don’t care what anyone says. I beleive that those records are the smoking gun we have been looking for. He held off as long as he could. When they finally looked at them this month they realized(Dickie and Thorpe) how deep he was in trouble. These records were not looked at last year like Butch professes.
