WRAL reports Harrow to Kentucky

I have to admit I am a little shocked by this. Maybe Cal believes with good coaching and strength and conditioning he can get Harrow to live up to his high school ranking.

Those images of Harrow look pretty bad to me as well but playing devils advocate part of me wonders why there was non video that released of the same mannerisms. We all knew what Ryan’s mindset was but we could nailing him to the stake because an opportunistic photographer caught 3 seconds of weakness as opposed to the non supportive gestures throughout the entire presser.

Again devil’s advocate. If he was like that the entire time, I would be inclined to agree with harshest of critic. But I like to think he’s not 7 and it was no surprise that Lowe was getting replaced.

With all that said, best of luck to him unless he plays us. I remember the first half against Kinston when he was in Highschool he dropped like 28 of his teams 35 pts and didn’t return for the second half due to dehydration. That was at the

The Chest Hair Prophecies are being fulfilled thus far. I’m fine with it though personally. He struck me as a self-entitled prima donna from the beginning, and his contributions were pretty underwhelming. He had one of the worst shooting percentages in the ACC, was weak on defense and was generally manhandled due to his scrawniness. He should have spent less time scolding the fans, and more time in the weight room and working on his shot. It will be interesting to see how Kentucky fans react to his whiny rebukes.

    Good Luck Harrow

I wish him good luck even though he is playing for the scum of the earth now. I agree it is the best outcome based on his reactions and lack of support following the Lowe departure. I think the team will do better in the long run but will certainly miss his talents. A little more aggressive, defense improvement and strength will do Harrow a lot of justice. The year off will help him a lot at KU. I still hate the toolbag Calipari though…..

Still, I like our direction thus far and we will be fine. Good? Probably not but I strongly believe we will have a team that will show growth this time around.

Wow. It is really hard for me to have any good will towards a kid who jumps ship for a sleazeball like Callipari. Good luck with the fans Mr. Sensitive.

I wish the young man all the best. After going through a year of hell, at the bottom of the conference, he ends up at a decent school that is already a championship contender. Who wouldn’t want that? If he has an interest in his degree, he’s got a whole year to work on it while he away from ball.

My Two Cents: Facts and Opinions that are Difficult to Refute.

“Let me explain. No. There is no time. Let me sum up.”

Ryan was a great high school scorer that was not even the best recruit for a bad team in a weak college conference.

He had a bad shooting %, probably due to the fact that he took a lot of really bad shots.

    He played bad defense.

    He bailed on his team.

I will not miss him a little bit, but he’s a kid. I hope he grows up and into his potential and has a wonderful life. I really do. I made a bunch of dumb mistakes, and blew off a lot of responsibility, when I was his age. I hope Ryan has a long great career.

    Just relieved it’s not here.

its a shame that someone with his potential would leave state but if he is interested in playing for a cheater of a coach then good riddance. i have to disagree with lonewolfpack. i hope he has a terrible career as a basketball player right along with the other cheaters on that team
