Stat of the Day: Road Tripping

Did you know that the distance between Miami and Boston College is 1,259 miles?

The longest road trips for the following three conferences are actually LONGER than the ACC’s longest:

1,508 miles in Big East for UConn/Texas Christian

1,684 miles in Western Athletic for Louisiana Tech/San Jose State

1,690 miles in C-USA for East Carolina/UTEP

    I don’t know if you have ever heard this on a 4 letter TV network, but Duke and UNC are 8 miles apart.

    the hypocrisy of the ncaa at work.
    Sending student-athletes half across the country mid-week so we can have super conferences, but the mere thought of paying student-athletes a stipend is blasphemous.
    NCAA has gotten beyond the point of being a joke.

    How about the Sun Belt? FIU in Miami to Denver in CO, 2076 miles or so.
