I have a two quick items tonight that are sort of leftovers but I wanted to clear them out this week to make way for all the great new stuff that is sure to come out next week.
On Wednesday UNC player Shaun Draughn did an interview after being reinstated. It was pretty uninteresting until the last exchange. When I read this:
Do you think the trip with Chris to Atlanta was the reason you were held out of the LSU game?
“I didn’t take a trip with Chris.”
I thought I remembered some Twitter information about Draughn being in Atlanta with Hawkins. I was right. We did an entry that featured the following Twitter exchange about Draughn and some other players in Atlanta. To be clear, we are not saying that he was in Atlanta with Hawkins, but this seems to indicate that he was. Shaun Draughn is  Showtime20unc, UNC cornerback Charles Brown is OpBoyGuapBoy12 and former UNC player (now agent as defined by the NCAA) Chris Hawkins is hawkEZ. J.P Giglio of the the N & O originally pointed out these Tweets, which were from Kendric Buney’s Twitter account.

So for whatever that is worth, there it is. I thought it was worth revisiting after Draughn’s denial.
Last, I just loved this article from the Star-Ledger, written by a UNC-CH graduate. Check out this quote:
Academic fraud. Improper benefits. That, in the world of college sports, is a daily double. Toss in a few fixed games, and North Carolina will have completed the Triple Crown of Cheating, and I can officially hang the purple and black funeral bunting over my diploma.
The Tar Heels might beat Rutgers Saturday in Piscataway. If the Scarlet Knights play like they did offensively in their first two games, UNC probably will run away with the game, even with a dozen players suspended.
In the score book that matters, however, Rutgers alumni will be the winners in a rout. They have the team that, win or lose this game, reflects positively on the institution they love.
Go Pack. Beat Tech. See you guys next week.
