Well Sid who you gonna blame this time? It’s all you and you’re inability to coach. I love you, appreciate what you did for us as a PLAYER but all players don’t make ACC coaches and you are a shining example, please resign so we can try and get a coach that will at least make us respectable again!!

Extremely classy Sidney. Great wide open shot Javi! We are a complete joke.

    Y’all kill me…

So Sidney can’t get fired up? I thought that was a major complaint against him recently.

    Which is it?

  4. MA Wolfpack 02/06/2010 at 6:11 PM #

Mays was fouled and they missed it.

  5. SlapAbutch09 02/06/2010 at 6:11 PM #

Yeah agreed i wish sid would have stayed on the court to shake hands, but it shouldnt matter and actually it doesnt matter but mays got fouled on his shot. How can you not call it when they nail his elbow. Just our luck though

Nice airball for the game winning shot Javi

Getting fired up is something. Like cussing out the refs. But, at least shake Hewitt and the jackets’ hands.

  8. wolfiescout49 02/06/2010 at 6:12 PM #

Getting fired up during the game is one thing…storming off the court like a spoiled teenager after the game is completely different. Not even shaking hands with the opponent who you got outcoached by tonight. Though, not outcoached by much.

I never thought Sidney was accused of not caring unlike the accusations of not being able to coach college players.

Being a NC STATE basketball fan is like a bad drug rehab. I kept going back to rehab and still get the same results 4 years now. These are his players. I know it has to be Sidney no question about it.

Let’s hold our reservations until we hear the post game remarks. I hope Sid did shake their hands.

Also, it was painfully obvious that Sid’s coaching kept us in it this time (I’m not saying he’s a great coach, but in this game, he made the adjustments at the 4 min mark to come back). We fought in this one, just weren’t knocking down enough wide open looks.

    Pleased with the effort though.

You guys that are down on Sidney for leaving the floor need to back off. He was actually putting up a fight for his team after the officials missed another call. He needs to start getting technicals and not standing for this crap any more.

  13. ncsu_kappa 02/06/2010 at 6:18 PM #

Yeah I think coaching wise we made the right adjustments… but WTF mate. I think Sid is finally going to give LF ammo to pull the trigger on his job. I can’t recall the last time a coach didn’t shake the other team’s hands b/c of the refs. at least the other coaches and all the players did.

What did he say during the post game comments? i saw it on espn 360

  14. Rick 02/06/2010 at 6:18 PM #

Lowe is throwing Javi under the bus

  15. Noah 02/06/2010 at 6:18 PM #

Pure class by Coach ****. Pure class.

Maybe during the next game, he can burn a flag and give an old lady the finger.

  16. Barman 02/06/2010 at 6:19 PM #

I feel certain Sid made his way over to the GT locker’s to shake hands with Hewitt if he didnt do so right after the game. people need to stop always looking for BS to pile on about, gettin extremely played out

  17. D_Medlin 02/06/2010 at 6:25 PM #

Not long ago I read complaints on the forum about Sid showing no emotion.

Now y’all kill for showing some. How could he not be fired up after his team fought back from a 14 point deficit only to have a questionable officiating call impact the final shot?

    I’d be fired up too.

  18. ncsu_kappa 02/06/2010 at 6:26 PM #

@Barman – one would only hope so but sportsmanship shouldn’t have much uncertainty involved.
@Noah – I needed that after this game
@Rick – thanks, did he take any accountability for his part in Javi taking that shot, offer any comment about walking off?

Larry Harris should take a cue from Ricky Bobby and tell Coach Lowe, “With all due to respect Sid, that was a bitch move”

  19. JeremyH 02/06/2010 at 6:26 PM #

aw guys, i just realized i was watching out JAYVEE team, oh boy, do i feel foolish

  20. wolfiescout49 02/06/2010 at 6:28 PM #

How long was Clyde Drexler coach at Houston? How long was Matt Dohrety coach at UNC? Why can’t we at NCSU learn a lesson from history?

  21. rtpack24 02/06/2010 at 6:31 PM #

Why did Degand not play? Why does Josh Davis play? Sid’s coaching the first 36.5 minutes put us in the whole. Nice run at the end but maybe we should have been pressing earlier. Our half court sets are pathetic. If Wood doesn’t shot lights out in the first half we are down by 12 or more at half. It is hard to see any improvement in this team, they were playing better 6 weeks ago. Maybe we turn around the next game. Mays was fouled at end of game.

  22. rbwolf 02/06/2010 at 6:33 PM #

Everybody, just accept it we will have Lowe one more year, but it will be the same Ol same Ol. We will be in last place next year at the same time.

  23. tuckerdorm1983 02/06/2010 at 6:39 PM #

what about the heart our team showed with that comeback. wow!!! That is very positive. I know we lost, but man what a comeback.

Just to note. Any coach in the ACC with all the cream of the crop players as Ole Roy has would being doing a sight better, even if they are rebuilding. ABC baby ABC!!!

that game was a suck fest like every other one of states games….they sucked on day one when he (sid) got here, they suck now. they are going to suck next year, it`ll only look better cuz he is riding on talent that he`ll do his damdest to under utilize. a 2 point loss sucks as must as a 20 point loss. 2-7 in conference play sucks too. this whole athletics program is one big suck fest. i dont know how i even got sucked into watching/caring about this game today. hell i even had a free ticket, but thank GOD i was smart enough not to go. everyone just needs to quit sending money/time on this bull @#%@. end of story.

i`d love it if SFN wouldnt even bother previewing the rest of the b-ball games from here on out. they….alll of them….arent worth it.

  25. Dogbreath 02/06/2010 at 6:45 PM #

We need to shitcan Fowler and get somebody in here to straighten out this mess of an athletics department. We are a doormat.

I don’t want some two-bit simpleton promoted from within, nor “one of our own” brought back. Fuck that.

We need to go hire the number 2 man from a winning school, someone who has a standard of excellence and knows how to drive performance. We have a culture of losing that needs to be completely purged.
