NC State vs Georgia Tech Open Post

Will NC State start a bigger lineup against the inside oriented Jackets? Can the Wolfpack take down its third ranked oppoenent of the season?

Today’s game is huge for both State and Ga. Tech. Both needs win badly.

Post thoughts here and check Twitter during the game for a few updates/thoughts.

We are making so many unforced errors that this is really hard to watch. Davis is a hustler and has not hurt us today. Painter has potential but he has not had the minutes to develop. What has happened to V’berg. He used to get a few minutes every game. Favors is a man–too bad on the near miss on him. This is a loss barring a miracle. Hopefully the holes will stay in the basement with us tomorrow after a butt whipping at MD. Sigh.

These are two awful, awful teams.

Both these coaches should be shown the door.

14 FGs, 18 TOs for the game. This one’s over folks. Deja vu all over again. I’m out.

it’s like there’s no real strategy

Wood has got to learn NOT to sag off good shooters…. I don’t care who’s driving the lane behind him

  9. Rochester 02/06/2010 at 5:32 PM #

I wonder sometimes if Wood tries to cover too much ground on defense because he doesn’t trust his teammates to be where they should. Then he winds up out of position. Maybe the next coach can teach team defense.

He’s playing team or help defense. He doesn’t have the quickness to run at guys 18 feet from the basket but he plays sound team defense most of the time.

Too bad we whiffed on Barnes twice. He wouldn’t give us a 3rd chance

I tired of “what ifs” everywhere we look or go. What if Favours had come, or Wall? Would have been an impressive inside and out team.

“Looks like NC State has lost their legs”?

    And another game……….

Can the team sue Lowe for lack of support?

Gag and puke performance again. Enough turnovers to open up a bakery shop. Down sixteen. Done.

Eddie Fogler is a horrible announcer.

Here’s a what if … what if we had a coach who knew how to coach?

  23. wolfiescout49 02/06/2010 at 5:43 PM #

What the hell is it going to take to get a coaching change? I understand the struggles in year 1 with only 6-7 scholarship players, but shouldn’t there be some measures in place for improvement? Having a 10th place best finish in 4 ACC seasons is nowhere near good coaching!

look on the bright side, we could be Toyota

Time to start our annual tradition of adopting a team to cheer for in March
