Will NC State start a bigger lineup against the inside oriented Jackets? Can the Wolfpack take down its third ranked oppoenent of the season?

Today’s game is huge for both State and Ga. Tech. Both needs win badly.

    This is the worst shooting team I can ever remember.

    Mays, Horner, Wood (2) and Javi have missed wide open 3s. I would say those are our 4 best shooters yet they cannot make anything. We have got to upgrade our perimeter guys.

    Our defense has been great in the half court, but we cannot keep GT out of transition b/c we constantly miss open shots and turn it over.

    Per ESPN gametracker, it is 14-7 Tech with 7:49 to go in the first.

    At least State hit the extra point.

    The only difference in the last 4 minutes is Wood actually made his 2 open 3s and made a tough one after that. He got the same shots before, but he’s finally knocking them down.

    Josh Davis has been really good for us in this game. He does a lot of little things and rarely hurts us (at least so far).

    Need Javi to give us more points.

    If we beat Ga Tech today Paul Hewitt should make the Jackets run until they collapse. They should be beating the snot out of us. How are they only up one? And has anyone heard any cheering there? That’s the quietest crowd in the ACC.

    well it wasn’t pretty but somehow we take a lead into the half. If we go into a 7-10 min scoring drought in the second half we are sunk. They go up by 20 or so and that is that. If we can keep pace we got a chance.
