    UNC of 2010 were who we thought they were and we took the dang court! So if you want to not crown them, then do so,we left them off the hook? A 14 pt loss at home to a 13-7 UNC team that lost at College of Charleston and got solid minutes from some kid name John Henson or was the Jim Henson?
    Where was the block out on missed free throws coach? Where was the pressure
    defense coach? Why is CJ Williams and Dennis Horner on the floor with James Mayes at the sametime? Why did you not set some NBA screen plays for Scott Wood? Ever hear of a zone? It is a defense that i know is not allowed in the NBA but in college basketball, you can use it. Well, questions questions and issues and issues and hopes and hopes but hearing great recruits, there comming there comming hey so and so is comming, but guess what virgina, there is not nc state basketball gist of ncaa bids and acc titles and occasional wins over top teams because
    NC state santa does not exist.

    I hate to beat a dead horse, and we have one coaching the men’s team, but if this team finishes last, and the coaches overall record is a losing one which it will be close to below 500., then obviously a change needs to be made even if the next recruit is Michael Jordan.
    We have a great university, a great fan base, facilities are top notch, i see more and more nc state appreal and fans and allumi and the ACC Basketall conference coaching job is a great one, no matter whom the team is. How many more years are the state fans,alumni, and new students
    going to accept this? It is the four year mark, and every solid coach in any sport distingushes him or herself at this point in their careers,either with a horrible season or a turning point. One solid victory over Duke is not it!

    well, on a positive note.. i agree, we do have a great fanbase. probably to great, we put up with too much apparrently. hell, let me coach… i’ll kick roy toy in the nuts myself…

    Is there anyway we (NC STATE) can get out of the ACC. We will never make to the NCAA’s if we don’t.

    Like I suspected, the Duke win (and the ’07 win against UNC) are the exception, not the rule. Any team that shoots 60% or higher should beat almost any team on the court.

    We lost badly to a decent Maryland team.

    We lost badly to a mediocre UNC team (I was there in ’02 when UNC was really bad).

    Lowe just doesn’t know how to get the best out of his players consistently. That’s why it’s such a surprise when everyone is clicking and such a disappointment when half of the players have their ‘typical’ off nights.

    Seriously– we know what Scott Wood is capable of– so why have we only seen that one game this year?

    Why is Javi a mystery as a PG? And why does Mays always find the way on the court when Javi has a slow start? FYI– WE WON’T WIN A SINGLE ACC GAME WITH MAYS RUNNING THE POINT!

    Nothing will happen this year, and it shouldn’t. But next year, I expect a top 25 team that does not ‘squeak’ their way into the post-season, but gets there defiantly.

    Sooooooo disappointing…..

    yeap, not good. still trying to stomach having watched the game where NCSU tallied about five minutes of playing time.

    WOULDN’T IT BE NICE TO SEE SOME KILLER INSTINCT OUT OF THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM?

    nccu, sure we need an easier opponent. although i can’t imagine an easier one than tonight. playing a bad team can also hurt us as well, i’m a pretty optimistic person concerning NCSU athletics… hell if i know why…

    everyone call me crazy, CRAZY. i don’t think sid is a terrible coach. i think he is just way too laidback. he may not get it until he’s replaced… i’m still with him… he’s got to get it, he needs serious pressure to understand what he CAN do better, he CAN do better.. what will it take for him to realize it?

    NC State played zone some in the second half. Carolina made a couple of three pointers and got a couple of offensive rebounds so the Wolfpack got out of it.

    Simple really.

    Turned the TV to watch South Carolina beat Kentucky. I don’t think our entire team could stop Devon Downey by himself! The “Chicken Curse” has moved to Raleigh and it’s been renamed!
