    what i just completely don’t understand is why, when we are up 43-38.. they come up empty on a few possessions and we march down the court and shoot three’s. not a three, but like five possessions in a row. i won’t bail on these sorry@sses, but omg have some common sense. we made a bad unx team look good. why????????????????????????????????????/

    this team isn’t worth the time spent writing on this blog….ironic, no?
    i`m slowly weening myself of the team, didnt even think about the game til about 30 mins before the game started, even had other things to occupy myself with so the game didnt receive my undivided attention. hopefully by the end of the season i`ll be completly off this drug.

    i guess that funny feeling i had today was the same funny feeling when herbs smoketek couldn’t take advantage of unx when they were down ten or so years ago????????? what is wrong, what the hell is wrong. lose, hmmmm i’ll eventually swallow it… but getting overpowered by the powder puffs is just plain embarrassing. hmmm, the fantasy football party this week with 2 dukies, 6 tarblowers and 2 PACK fans ought to be a butt load of frikkin excitement……pitiful, pitifull

    What a coaching performance! A must win a rivalry game, a team on the ropes
    on the verge of falling apart,wait that is the wolfpack!!! LOL, Where was the adjustments at halftime? Where was the pressure defense on a team that
    turns the ball over 17 times a game? Why did they start fouling to get more possessions? Where was Scott Wolf? Why did Horner start over Howell? Tracy Smith on four cannot win? Stick a fork in this team, NC State is who we all thought they were and they are done!! DONE DONE DONE!! This was a change to beat the heels and show some progress after four years of rolling the ball out and “hitting shots”. Mr. Lowe the game of basketball in COLLEGE is not shooting, it is fundamentals. Passing,Defense, Blocking out( i refer to 4pts giving up on offensive rebounds after missed free throws, yes missed free throws).

    Hey, can we get Kellie Harper to take over, because LOWE just does not get it. I feel for the young guns:wood howell and smith,
    I like Javi g, he plays with a lot of heart and guts. If he did not play well, just how bad would this loss have been? And this state team had a good solid practice prior to this game? Hey coach, try a practice tonight on defense. I have a bad feeling, this team is not only lost for the year and another last place finish,but we could actualy be flat for NCCU and maybe lose.
    Maybe the new chancelor was at the game and will make a change on b-ball coach and ad! We can only hope!
    Back to watching the ACC Title game of 1987, the last men’s basketball championship of any kind and counting 23 anybody 24 years!!

    i’ve been hoping for sid to get to the point where pressure is the key word. pressure, pressure that will allow him to get over himself and drop the hammer on these players.. i want him to win, i want the team to win, but most importantly i want the NCSU WOLFPACK to fbombing WIN. they can do it right now, wth is the problem???????? pitiful

    Maybe a call can go out to Derek Whittenburg? Heck, he has somekind of experience as a college assistant and college coach.
    One sweet sixteen appearence in 24 yrs! Well, maybe in the next 24 state will figure it out! When you have a job or position to fill, get someone whom is and has experience, not someone who did not even have a college degree. Even the announcers stated”it seems as if the shots don’t fall, state stops playing defense?”Hummm where have i heard that before!!!

    Welcome, 81. Not enabling feels really good, doesn’t it? Hell, I’m not even really mad tonight (well, I’m kind of upset about something else, but that’s another story for another day).

    We’ll probably beat UVA by 20 now, and the usual suspects will whip up another batch of Kool Aid. I’ve been around long enough to say “thanks, but no thanks” when the pitcher comes around to me.

    Good programs are built on defense, not 3-point shots.

    There is no Plan B when the shots don’t go in 60% of the time. Hasn’t been, won’t be. Not with this staff. We were flat outcoached and embarrassed at home in a must-win game against our arch-rivals, who right now are almost as banged up as our football team was last season. If we can’t beat ’em now, this one might look close compared to what’s coming next season.

    Is there not a coaching staff somewhere in the United States who can take our program out of the hole we’re mired in? As stated many times on here before, I think it’s time for a change.

    a beatable, crushable, sucktastic unx team… WOW. and the hits keep on coming. over a quarter century since our NC, staring at a quarter century since ACC promiseland… embarassing. and the sad thing is unx will probably go on to finish decent in the ACC ntm a tourney bid. i’m thirty years old, been a lifelong state fan and it still amazes me how piss poor we are. ?

    Sidney Lowe will never win because he has never experienced it at any coaching level. His hiring was a mistake and he is our Jim Zorn!
    But, the University will not pull the plug until after next year when Ryan H and maybe others come,oh wait, State will give Lowe an extension because
    he was 16-14 last year and had a down year this time. LOLL
    This UNC team is the worse one in years and they will be lucky to make the NIT let alone the NCAA’s. Heck, we lost at home to NORTHWESTERN by 10.
    I just feel so bad for the young guns and JaviG and what the heck is CJ Williams playing for? Can’t dribble, can’t shot,can’t pass, loll.
    Thanks for the hard play and effort JaviG. wished your head coach did as much as you!

    This was it. When will NC State win again. Wait never we are the bottom of the acc for 4 years in a row. Everyone get use to it. Learn to get use to being beat it will happen for years and years. I will never see another ncaa team at N.C. state in my lifetime. I will not be sending any money back to my school. This game just broke every ounce of hope I had for Harrow and Brown. I feel sorry for them. S–T I HATE BEING A NC STATE basketball fan. There is no next year for this team. S–T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Horner sucks again, glad he had that one blip against Duke.

    This just in everyone – we’re not a good team. Haven’t been for a while. State shot lights out against Duke but >60% perimeter shooting will be far and inbetween

    our players played like they didn’t have any sense at all. javi’s heroics were a very nice addition but he is too streaky. this team should forget about three pointers. i would like to say concentrate on defense, but we suck offensively. i don’t want javi taking another three pointer unless its a miracle shot at the end of the game, i don’t want him shooting period, not even layups! i want a point guard that concentrates on the offense around him or her.. hell i don’t CARE. i’m not done with this team, but i am deeply disappointed ;(

    nope, sure haven’t been good for a while. but we are better than this unx team. they suck. we just enjoy giving precious games away…
